Dr. Enoki was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He completed his undergraduate studies majoring in English at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. During college he worked in a Honolulu emergency department, during which he completed EMT-Basic certification. He worked on ambulances in Honolulu while completing a Master of Science degree in Physiology. He became certified as an EMT -Paramedic (MICT) and continued his work on "911" ambulances. He graduated from medical school with the MD degree in 2000 from the University of Hawaii and was awarded the US Navy's Health Professions Scholarship. He completed General Surgery internship in 2001, and completed US Navy Flight Surgeon training later that year. In 2003, he deployed with the US Marines during the invasion of Iraq. He then completed Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Arizona in 2009, then hand surgery fellowship at OHSU in 2010. He has practiced medicine and surgery in multiple healthcare settings.
