Dr James Wells joined our elite team of providers in July 2023, bringing with him over 40 years of education, training, and experience.

After graduating with his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Dr. Wells began practicing Family Medicine at the San Jacinto Methodist Hospital. He eventually moved to Selma Family Health Care, where he continued to practice Family Medicine, until he opened his own private practice, J. Darrick Wells MD, Inc., in 1996. Tariq Dayah, MD, MPH, FACC is a renowned cardiologist at Memorial Katy Cardiology Associates in Houston, Katy, and Cypress, Texas.

Dr. Sherwani received his medical degree from Rawalpindi Medical College and has been in practice for 27 years. Following medical school, Dr. Sherwani completed an internship in internal medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tennessee. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at the same institution.
