Mohammed Abu-Mahfouz, MD, is an experienced board-certified internal medicine specialist serving patients at ARK Cardiovascular & Arrhythmia Center. Dr. Mohamed holds multiple board certifications, including interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac MRI, and cardiovascular computed tomography (CT) angiography.

After earning his Doctor of Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum in Khartoum, Sudan, Dr. Mohamed completed his internal medicine residency training at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan.

After earning his Doctor of Medicine at The Academy of Medical Sciences and Technology in Khartoum, Sudan, Dr. Abdelaziz relocated to the United States. Dr. Abdelaziz then completed his Master of Science in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis (CRDSA) from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, before completing his cardiology fellowship at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn, serving as chief fellow in his final year.

He then went on to do his fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Connecticut (UConn) in Hartford, Connecticut.
