He returned to Wayne State University School of Medicine to finish a nephrology fellowship.
Dr. Middlebrook’s extensive experience began at two dialysis clinics in Detroit, which contracts with the State of Michigan for the Department of Corrections dialysis program.
In 2009, he joined American Renal Associates and served as the medical director of Wayne County. He is affiliated with two American Renal Associates dialysis clinics: the Detroit Kidney Center and Eastpointe Dialysis Center in Eastpointe, Michigan.
Dr. Middlebrook remains active in research and is a subinvestigator for the Revival Research Institute LLC, the state’s leading clinical research clinic in Southfield.
He maintains membership in the American Medical Association, Wayne County Medical Society, the Detroit Medical Society, the National Kidney Foundation, and the American Society of Nephrology.
