Dr. Fred Cohen is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is one of the few headache specialists in the country trained in both Internal Medicine and Headache Medicine. Dr. Cohen received his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Headache Medicine at the Jefferson Headache Center, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Virginia Stringel MD, is a board-certified child neurologist practicing at Complete Neurological Care, where she sees patients in the Midtown and Broadway offices.  

Dr. Stringel earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and then completed a 5-year residency in child neurology at Cohen Children’s Medical Center, affiliated with Northwell Health, in Queens, New York. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Her practice at Complete Neurological Care is focused on pediatric patients with concerns including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, ADHD, seizures, and tic disorders. 

In addition to seeing patients in the clinic, Dr. Stringel also contributes to the field of medical education by creating supplemental study material for use at the medical student level. 

Dr. Osher Rechester completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

After completing his undergraduate degree, he did research at Harvard (Massachusetts General Hospital), where he worked in the laboratory of Shaw Warren, M.D., who directed a research lab which studied mediators of sepsis and inflammation.

He subsequently received his M.D. after completing medical school at NYMC School of Medicine in Westchester County, New York.

He then proceeded to do his medical internship and residency in Neurology at Westchester Medical Center.

After completing his medical training, he went on to do an international post-graduate fellowship in Ethics and Philosophy at the Heiden Institute in Israel. Dr. Rechester has contributed to multiple research publications and he has also won multiple research and scholarship awards.

He received a scholarship to attend the Penry Residents Epilepsy Program at Wake Forest University in 2022. He also presented on frontal lobe epilepsy at Epilepsy Grand Rounds at Westchester Medical Center.

His interests in neurology include epilepsy and behavioral neurology.

Kishan Patel, MD, is one of the board-certified neurologists practicing at New York City’s Complete Neurological Care, which has locations in Forest Hills and Queens, and Financial District, Midtown, and in Manhattan, plus Valley Stream and Hicksville, New York. Dr. Gianna Link, MD, PhD, is a board-certified neurologist with decades of clinical and academic experience dedicated to the treatment of complex neurological and neurodegenerative disorders. She earned her PhD in Neuroimmunology from the Karolinska Institute, one of the world’s foremost medical research institutions, and completed advanced subspecialty training in Neuropsychiatry at Harvard and Neurorehabilitation at Cornell.

Based in NY and NJ, Dr. Link has built her career at the intersection of neurology, immunology, and systems-based medicine. Dr. Tsakadze is one of only a handful of certified headache specialists in the country. She completed Neurology Residency and Fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain at the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL. She also completed Thrombosis Vascular Training Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN and Postdoctoral Fellowship from the American Heart Association at the University of Louisville, KY. Scott Weaner, DO, is a board-certified neurologist who has been practicing right here in Hamilton for 30 years. He graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training in Neurology at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Air Force as the Chief of Neurology at USAF Hospital Sheppard AFB.

Dr. Weaner has special interests in the treatment of headache disorders as well as memory disorders, but his expertise covers all areas of general neurology. He takes a very personal approach with all of his patients. In his spare time, he enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and 2 sets of twins.
