Dr. Alexander Feoktistov is a nationally recognized expert in migraine, complex headache disorders, and interventional headache medicine. Allison has experience counseling clients ages 10 to 70+ in IOP, residential, and outpatient levels of care. Her work has included treatment of addictions/substance use, combat trauma, and mood disorders in active duty service members and veterans at Rush University Medical Center, under Michael Brennan, PsyD. Since 2015, she has also gained experience in case management, crisis intervention, psychoeducation curriculum development, and police social work.
Allison's clinical areas of focus include addictions and substance use; adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and 'inner child' healing; developmental trauma; feelings of inadequacy, shame, or guilt; infidelity; interpersonal and relational challenges;'men’s issues’; military needs (including post-traumatic stress, substance use, and TBI); self-esteem challenges; and self-doubt.
In addition to her clinical work, Allison has a love for yoga and has completed studies under Jeanmarie Paolillo and Genevieve Yellin.
