Aurelio is originally from San Diego, CA and earned his BA Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Louisville, and a Master’s degree in Athletic Training form Spalding University. He is the Director of Athletic Training at Aptiva Health. He has worked with multiple high school athletes in the Louisville area. While in the HS athletic arena, he saw athletes in nearly every sport, and truly enjoys working with volleyball, football, soccer and basketball. His most recent experience was with Lou City FC as the assistant to the head athletic trainer, working with professional soccer players to keep them healthy and develop their speed and strength and improve recovery to keep them performing at an optimal level.

He holds advanced A.C.E. certifications in Functional Training and Weight Management and is currently pursuing massage therapy to further expand his expertise in recovery and soft-tissue care.
