She then spent a decade working in global health and women's rights, spending much of that time overseas. She later obtained both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters in Midwifery from Columbia University. Prior to joining Boro Park, Jen worked as a Certified Nurse Midwife at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn. Dena Harris, MD is a Board Certified Gynecologist and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy specialist currently concentrating her practice in chronic sexual, vulvar, and pelvic pain, as well as general, adolescent and menopausal gynecology. She was a medical pioneer, as the first OB/GYN in the SOHO area and also one of the first female OB/GYNs in private practice in New York City. After becoming partners with Dr. Deborah Coady in 1980, she co-founded SOHO OB/GYN women’s health care center.

She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1972, and received her medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College (now part of Drexel University) in 1976. Edan Yodfat, MD is a board-certified and fellow-trained physician in obstetrics and gynecology at Boro Park OB/GYN in Brooklyn, New York.
