Caitlin Myers has been an OB/GYN PA since 2013 when she graduated from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. She has 9 years of inpatient OB/GYN experience in the NYC hospital system. Caitlin is a lifelong Norwalk resident and is excited to be back practicing in the community she lives in. She offers a full range of OB/GYN services, with a special interest in high-risk pregnancies and adolescents.
In her free time, Caitlin enjoys spending time outdoors with her two children, traveling, and trying out the newest restaurants in town.
Amalia Kotlyar, MD, is excited to join the Avery Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology and focus on patient-centered, empathetic care in an intimate private practice setting.
When it comes to obstetrics, Dr. Kotlyar provides an individualized approach to pregnancy and birth experience. She believes in shared decision-making and empowering patients through information. She has a special interest in breastfeeding.
Dr. Kotlyar is devoted to caring for women of all stages. She enjoys adolescent gynecology and provides her youngest patients with a supportive environment to start their gynecologic care. She is passionate about reproductive choice and has expertise in comprehensive family planning, including complex contraception and permanent sterilization. She also enjoys caring for women during the transition to menopause and helps her patients optimize health and wellbeing during this time.
Additionally, Dr. Kotlyar has an interest in minimally invasive surgery, including vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic cases. She has earned certifications in Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery as well as DaVinci Robotic Surgery. She has published on enhanced recovery after minimally invasive surgery in which patients are able to recuperate comfortably at home, rather than in the hospital, after their procedure. Dr. Kotlyar enjoys working with patients to determine an individualized approach to managing fibroids and adenomyosis, including both medical and surgical methods.
Dr. Kotlyar earned her medical degree from University of California – San Francisco. She completed residency at New York University Langone Medical Center. Outside of the office, Dr. Kotlyar cherishes the time she spends with her family.

Amy Serrano is a certified Physician Assistant who was born and raised in Trumbull. She attended Loyola University Maryland for her undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Amy attended Pace University in New York City and received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating, she began her career as a PA in OB/GYN at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She gained experience in working with both obstetric patients on Labor and Delivery, as well as caring for patients admitted to the GYN service and first assisting in the operating room for gynecologic procedures.
Amy moved back to Connecticut with her family and continues to practice her love of women’s health with the Avery Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology. She enjoys taking care of patients of all ages.
Melissa Taylor-Giorlando, MD, FACOG is a Connecticut native, having grown up in Easton and Trumbull. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Columbia University.
She graduated from the Yale School of Medicine in 2017. During medical school, she received an award recognizing excellence in Ob/Gyn and outstanding biomedical research. She completed her residency at the Yale-New Haven Hospital. She was drawn to Obstetrics and Gynecology due to its wide breadth and opportunity for a close personal connection with her patients. Dr. Giorlando offers a full range of Ob/Gyn services. She is accepting new patients.
Our Physician Assistant, Michelle, has over 10 years of experience working in fields such as emergency medicine and intensive care until she specialized and excelled in obstetrics and gynecology oncology. She has worked in hospitals such as Coney Island Hospital, Maimonides Medical Center, and New York University Medical Center. Michelle is a phenomenal addition to this exceptional staff.
Alecia Giovinazzo is a board certified doctor in obstetrics and gynecology. She did her residency in ob/gyn at Richmond University Medical Center hospital and started her own practice in 2005. She has professional experience in general ob/gyn, advanced laparoscopy, and high risk pregnancy. Dr. Giovinazzo has received awards for her efforts in clinical teaching and for her expertise in laparoscopic surgery. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, Center for Human Reproduction, and Richmond County Medical Society. Dr. Giovinazzo is also fluent in Spanish.
Paul Matta, DO, brings a wealth of experience and skills to his role as the medical director and CEO at Advanced Perinatal Associates in Manalapan and Little Silver, New Jersey.
Dr. Matta and his experienced team offer personalized experiences for patients who visit for preconception counseling, pregnancy-related complications, and prenatal diagnosis. Because he strongly believes in the value of the doctor-patient relationship, every patient has a direct relationship with him.
Dr. Matta earned his undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. He went on to complete his medical training at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York.
He completed his OB/GYN internship and residency through New York Medical College at Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. He then completed a fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, where he worked as a clinical instructor in the maternal-fetal medicine division of the OB/GYN department.
In addition to his extensive experience as an OB/GYN physician and educator, Dr. Matta is a published author and an invited speaker at a number of OB/GYN symposiums. He is certified in maternal-fetal medicine, obstetrics, and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Ostrov is a fellowship trained obstetrician/gynecologist with a subspecialty in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She believes in a comprehensive approach to women's health care and has a special interest in treating pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids and endometriosis.
As a patient advocate, Dr. Ostrov is dedicated to a multidisciplinary and multimodal approach to treating and preventing disease. Dr. Ostrov has won multiple awards for both her surgical and teaching skills and has been praised for her exceptional bedside manner. Prior to joining the practice, she was formerly the Chief Resident as well as an assistant clinical instructor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Stony Brook University Medical Center. She is currently a Clinical Instructor at NYU Langone Medical Center.

Dr. Kenneth A. Levey completed both college and medical school at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his residency on Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2001 and his Masters in Public Health in 2001 at the George Washington University Medical Center. He has been a faculty member at the NYU Langone Medical Center since 2001. While at NYU, Dr. Levey founded the Bellevue Hospital chronic pelvic pain clinic where women with chronic pelvic pain continue to be treated. He is also the founder and Director of the NY Pelvic Pain and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery P.C. The group of subspecialty physicians focuses on unique multidisciplinary approaches to diagnose and manage women with chronic pelvic pain. This includes endometriosis, irritable bowel syndrome, interstitial cystitis, nerve entrapments, pelvic musculoskeletal disorders, rheumatologic disorder, gastrointestinal, female reproductive, and psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Levey is a well known expert in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He has used his skills in laparoscopy and robotic surgery to help women avoid hysterectomy, treat fibroids, endometriosis, large pelvic masses and chronic pelvic pain. He also receives referrals from other surgeons to treat highly complex benign gynecologic conditions. He is an active member of the faculty at the Robotic Surgery Center at NYU.

Dr. Davison offers office and surgical gynecologic care for a wide range of benign gynecologic issues. She received her BA with distinction in all subjects from Cornell University and her MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she was a member of the AOA honor society and received the Glasgow-Rubin achievement award given to women graduating at the top of their class. Dr. Davison received the Resident Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons upon graduation from her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Medical Center.
She has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and has published and presented in the areas of laparoscopy and the use of local anesthetic agents during particular office gynecologic procedures. Dr. Davison is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is an Ad Hoc reviewer for the Journal of Women’s Health Care.

Dr. Hobbs is fellowship trained by experts in the field of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and the management of pelvic pain.
She completed her undergraduate coursework at UNC-Chapel Hill and medical school at New York University School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency training on Obstetrics and Gynecology. While at NYU, where she earned laparoscopic surgery and resident teaching awards, she gained an appreciation and interest for minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
She then returned to UNC-Chapel Hill in order to pursue further training in minimally invasive surgery and pelvic pain with Drs. John Steege and Matthew Siedhoff, renowned practitioners in the field. There, she performed hundreds of complex laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries, including advanced endometriosis, large ovarian masses, hysterectomy of large uteri as well as removal of multiple large fibroids through small incisions. She also successfully treated many women with pelvic pain who were referred from locations around the South East.
In addition to her extensive clinical training, Dr. Hobbs also obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Research. She is passionate about training others as well as conducting clinical research in order to improve outcomes for patients. She has numerous peer-reviewed publications and is an active participant in minimally invasive gynecologic surgical societies.
Dr. Hobbs is known to be a caring, understanding physician who is extremely competent in her field. She is excited to apply the knowledge she has obtained in her fellowship in order to provide state of the art care for her patients in New York City.
