Kornelia Krol, MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN offering her expert care at Women for Women OBGYN, SC in Forest Glen of Chicago. Dr. Krol recognizes that a woman’s health is her most valuable asset and strives to help all of her patients across Chicago stay well and feel their best. She addresses all women’s specific medical care issues, including prenatal care, obstetrics, and gynecologic issues, such as pelvic pain, irregular bleeding, and menopause.
A superb gynecologic surgeon, Dr. Krol is adept at conventional techniques as well as the most up-to-date technology that includes operative laparoscopy and robotic procedures. She’s based at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago where she serves on the clinical faculty for the hospital’s OB/GYN residency program. She also teaches medical students at the affiliated University of Illinois and Chicago Medical School. She performs colposcopy, ultrasound and the newest minimally-invasive surgical procedures such as hysteroscopy and LEEP in her office. Dr. Krol was born in Poland, where she graduated from medical school. She completed a specialization in obstetrics and gynecology at the Belgrade Medical University in Yugoslavia. working there as faculty.
After immigrating to the United States, she entered a pathology training program at the University of Illinois, Chicago, followed by OB/GYN residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield and earned OB-GYN Board certification. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and recipient of numerous professional and teaching awards.
Active in local, national, and international medical societies, Dr. Krol also devotes countless hours to charitable causes benefiting the Polish community in Chicago. She serves women of all ethnicities and by speaking three languages (English, Polish, and Serbo-Croatian) she is especially popular among women of Slavic origin. Her dedicated staff is also multi-lingual.

Dr. Matthew King is a board-certified gynecologist. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then completed his specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology here in Chicago at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he also served as chief resident.
After practicing on the east coast, Dr. King is excited to return home to Chicago and join the Progressive Care for Women team and the staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. His goal as a gynecologist is to provide his patients with individualized evidence-based medical care so they can make informed healthcare decisions and take charge of their health.
His clinical interests include LGBTQ+ healthcare, cervical dysplasia, family planning and contraceptive care, and the management of abnormal uterine bleeding with minimally invasive methods. Dr. King has a special interest in gynecologic ultrasound and has previously given an oral presentation at the Central Association of Obstetricians / Gynecologists on the role of sonography in the diagnosis of retained products of conception. In his spare time, Dr. King enjoys traveling the globe with his husband and family, reading anything from a fictional mystery to the latest Ob/Gyn journal, and running around the city.

Kate Nash, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist at Progressive Care for Women in downtown Chicago.
Dr. Nash is a native of Chicago and has been a part of the Northwestern University community for over 20 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, where she was Chief Resident. She is now an attending physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Nash’s interests include uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and menopause. She is also a breast cancer survivor and has a special interest in the care of breast cancer survivors and women at high risk of breast cancer.

About Dr. Moreira
Jennifer Moreira, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at ThriveOB and Women's Wellness in Barrington, Illinois. Dr. Moreira has experience providing compassionate and comprehensive women’s care throughout every stage of life. Emily Forsythe is a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and women's health care provider at Yorktown Health, a multispecialty practice dedicated to compassionate, holistic, individualized care for women in Lombard, Illinois. Shawn Davies, MD, is an experienced OB/GYN at Yorktown Health, located in Lombard, Illinois. He has over 22 years of experience with interests in both Obstetrics and Gynecology. His goal has always been to provide the best-individualized care possible to reach the best outcome.
Dr. Davies attended college at Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets for four years. Maureen Tart, MD, FACOG, MSCP, is a board-certified OB/GYN. Before joining the practice in 2011, Dr. Tart practiced in Chicago for over a decade. She served as Co-Medical Director of her group and held the role of Vice Chair of the OB/GYN department for several years.
Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Tart moved to Chicago for her residency training and has since built a career dedicated to women’s health. She earned both her undergraduate degree in psychology and her medical degree from Georgetown University before completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Hospitals. During her residency, she served as the academic chief resident and trained alongside Dr. Heather B. Heiberger, MD, FACOG, and Dr. Elizabeth Oh, MD, FACOG.
Dr. Tart has a special interest in adolescent health, weight management, infertility care, and menopause management. As a MSCP - Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, she is dedicated to guiding patients through every stage of life with personalized, compassionate care. She views her role as an OB/GYN as a partnership—helping patients navigate their health from adolescence through menopause while building lasting relationships with them and their families.
Outside of work, Dr. Tart stays busy with her boys, two Spring Spaniels, yoga, and racquet sports. Her youngest was adopted domestically, which has made adoption advocacy a cause close to her heart.
