Essam Taymour, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Gynecology and Obstetrics Medical Group in Long Beach, California. Dr. Taymour has been practicing since 1981 and is a fellow of the American College of OB/GYN. He has full privileges at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Shoreline Surgery Center and Memorialcare Outpatient Surgery Center. Dr. Taymour uses his compassionate and personable manner to provide the most current and comprehensive care to women.

Providing a broad spectrum of women’s health services, Dr. Taymour focuses on laparoscopic services, pelvic reconstruction procedures, and an innovative, new radio-frequency ablative procedure for treating uterine fibroids called Sonata. Dr. Taymour has been honored by Long Beach Memorial Medical Center as Doctor of the Year in 2010. He is also the recipient of numerous awards for his work teaching residents at Long Beach Hospital. Dr. Sepideh Zahedy-Kapusta of Women & Family Clinic in La Habra, California, has a passion for aesthetics, educating patients, and giving every individual the highest standard of care. Dr. Zahedy began her medical career in Germany where she graduated from Justus-Liebig University Giessen medical school. Karie McMurray MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB-GYN helping patients in her office at Conejo Women’s Medical Center, located in Thousand Oaks, California in the Conejo Valley area near Westlake Village. She’s devoted to serving all the health care needs of women in a warm and caring environment, including bioidentical hormone therapy, osteoporosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, incontinence, birth control, body contouring, and many other gynecologic needs.

Dr. McMurray has been involved in health care for over 25 years. She graduated from USC School of Medicine, received a master’s degree in nursing from UCLA, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah. Dr. McMurray is trained in general obstetrics and gynecology, family practice, and certified in da Vinci® minimally invasive robotic surgery. She is certified in MonaLisa Touch and SculpSure laser therapy. For more than 20 years of experience prescribing bio-identical hormones, she is a specialist in the hormonal needs of patients from adolescence through menopause.

She and her husband Dr. Kyle Himsl, live in Westlake Village with their two children. 

David Ahdoot, M.D., FACOG is a board-certified OB-GYN, who serves as a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Ahdoot obtained his medical degree at the University of California San Diego before going on to complete a nationally renowned residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California Irvine. He has authored more than 30 publications and is the recipient of numerous awards including Patient’s Choice Award and the Top 10 Doctor Award in Los Angeles.

In addition to seeing patients at his private practice, he also has an academic affiliation as an assistant clinical professor at UCLA. Dr. Ahdoot has privileges with three area hospitals: Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Encino-Tarzana Hospital, and Providence Holy Cross Hospital. Dr. Ahdoot is bilingual in both English and Spanish to better serve the patients in the community.

Training in a smaller metropolitan community residency program has allowed her to gain an incredible breadth of experience and volume, including extensive training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries. In addition, training at a Level 3 Perinatal hospital and high-risk obstetrics referral center has also given her the opportunity to manage a large variety of complex high-risk pregnancies.

Dr. Pham strongly believes in providing quality health care to a diverse population, especially to underserved communities. Salman Okour, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist specializing in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. 

At his private practice, Southern California Center for Advanced Gynecology, in Fountain Valley, California, Dr. Okour offers exceptional care and support to adolescent girls and women of all ages who are struggling with a wide range of gynecologic problems.

After graduating from the University of Baghdad in Baghdad, Iraq, Dr. Okour completed his OB/GYN residency at Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. During his residency, he was involved in the surgical training of senior residents. 

He also received the faculty residents teaching award from the Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey.

As a high-volume gynecologic surgeon, Dr. Okour has extensive experience that has enabled him to optimize minimally invasive techniques. As a result, he provides better outcomes and has lower complication rates.

Dr. Okour's surgical specialties include laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and minimally invasive procedures such as abdominal cerclage and endometrial ablation. 

He brings expert skills in fertility-enhancing myomectomy, ovarian tissue-preserving cystectomy, endometriosis resection, as well as laparoscopic hysterectomies, pelvic organ prolapse surgery, colpocleisis, and tubal reanastomosis.

Dr. Minal Mehta is a board-certified physician who specializes in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology. The doctor and her staff serve the residents of Fountain Valley, California, and many nearby communities, including Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Westminster, Santa Ana, and Anaheim. She has over 18 years of experience serving the community as a licensed OB/GYN. Jamie Kim, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN and an accredited associate of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of America with a practice in Fountain Valley, California. Dr. Kim is one of only a handful of doctors in the United States with advanced training in aesthetic reconstructive vaginal surgery, and she is among only a few women in the state of California able to perform these surgeries.

In addition to restoring vaginal health, Dr. Kim is also an experienced surgeon, with 25 years in practice. She offers da Vinci® robotic surgery for the removal of fibroids, ovarian tumors, and endometrial tissue. She also provides expert OB/GYN services, including well-women examinations and Pap smears as well as care and delivery of normal and high-risk pregnancies. For patients of all ages, Dr. Kim provides BioTe® hormone optimization.

Board-certified OB/GYN Geeta Patel, MD, of Inland Women Care is an experienced physician providing exceptional services to women living in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She speaks Gujarati and Hindi as well as fluent English and welcomes women of all ages and nationalities to her practice.

Dr. Patel holds medical and surgical degrees from Sardar Patel University’s PramukhSwami Medical College in Gujarat, India, graduating in 1995. She furthered her education as a research fellow in nephrology at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center Department of Medicine in New Hyde Park, New York, and continued for her preliminary year as a general surgical resident.

Dr. Patel completed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Detroit Medical Center and Hutzel Women’s Hospital, affiliated with Wayne State University in Detroit. She earned her board certification in 2010 by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
