A native of Kashmir, Dr. Qadri cherished a dream of being a physician and surgeon like her father. As the valedictorian from her high school, she applied to medical school and won a full scholarship to one of the most prestigious medical schools in India, Government Medical College.
Dr. Qadri did her residency at Beaumont Health – Dearborn, one of the leading health care systems in the state of Michigan. She won multiple awards in residency including the SMFM (Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine) award for excellence in Obstetric care, the SASGOG (Society of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology) award, best Intern in her class, and multiple CREOG achievement awards.
