Dr. Walker was born on the Caribbean island of Nevis, and at age 3, moved to the island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, where she grew up. She first developed an interest in female healthcare one summer during college when she had the opportunity to shadow an obstetrician/gynecologist.
