Lyvie-Sara Sylvestre, MD, is an OB/GYN serving patients at Sarasota OB/GYN Associates, with two locations in Sarasota and Port Charlotte, Florida. Known for her charismatic nature, she is a life-long learner who practices patient-centered, evidence-based medicine.
Originally from Haiti, Dr. Sylvestre has called Florida her home since moving to the United States as a teenager. She earned her Bachelor of Science in interdisciplinary studies with a specialization in integrative biology from the University of Florida. She then graduated with her Master of Science in biomedical sciences and her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine. Finally, she completed her OB/GYN residency at Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Dr. Sylvestre has special interests in high-risk obstetrics, benign gynecology, minimally invasive gynecological surgery (including laparoscopy and robotic surgery), office procedures, and preventive medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Medical Association, and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.
Outside of work, Dr. Sylvestre enjoys traveling, learning different languages and cultures, playing multiple musical instruments and sports, web designing, participating in community service, and spending time with her family.
Katrina Davis, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN At Sarasota OB/GYN Associates in Sarasota and Port Charlotte, Florida. Dr. Davis’ special interests include treatment of painful bladder syndrome, pelvic floor prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and robotic laparoscopy, as well as the treatment of other gynecologic issues.
Dr. Davis completed her undergraduate degree at Jackson State University in Mississippi. She then attended medical school at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis before completing her OB/GYN residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she received specialized training in urogynecology and pelvic surgery. She is board certified in urogynecology as well as female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
She is a member of the International Academy of Pelvic Surgery, American Urogynecologic Society, and Arkansas Medical, Dental & Pharmaceutical Association. Dr. Davis is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Cohen has been providing excellent obstetrics and gynecology services to his patients in Sarasota since 1996. He is a board-certified Gynecologist and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is currently the Medical Director for the Venice and Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Centers, which are non-profit pregnancy counseling services, assisting pregnant women in need or crisis. Dr. Cohen has been married for 28 years and has 2 grown children. He enjoys an active dedication to his church and faith-based activities.

Dr. Devine received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He then completed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Akron General Medical Center inOhio. It was during his residency that he developed his passion for the field of urogynecology. Following his residency training, Dr. Devine was honored to be accepted into the Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Program at the University of California Irvine, under the directorship of Donald Ostergard, MD, a world-renowned urogynecologist.
Upon completion of his three-year fellowship, he returned to Akron, Ohio, and started the Northeast Ohio Urogynecology and Continence Center. In 2015 Dr. Devine brought his specialized training to the Venice, Florida, area to fill the need for a fellowship-trained urogynecologist in this community.
Dr. Devine is a staff member and attending physician in the Departments of Gynecology at Doctor's Hospital of Sarasota and both Sarasota Memorial Hospital locations.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American Urogynecologic Society and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Rubin Raju, MBBS, MD, MS, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Sarasota OB/GYN Associates in Bradenton and Venice, Florida. He specializes in women’s pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
Originally from Lilongwe, Malawi, Dr. Raju attended medical school at Maulana Azad Medical College and trained at Lok Nayak Hospital in New Delhi, India. After graduating in 2010, he worked as a clinical observer in obstetrics and gynecology at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Whittington Hospital in London, England.
Dr. Raju completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Michigan State University’s Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Beginning in 2016, he worked as a community obstetrics and gynecology provider with the Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing, Minnesota. Dr. Raju has also served as an obstetrician and gynecologist with the United States Army Reserve since 2016.
Dr. Raju returned to school in 2019, completing his master’s degree in biomedical sciences and his fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota. He is now an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the school.
Dr. Raju is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member of the Maulana Azad Medical College Old Student Association.
