Dr. Sophia Lubin is a proud first-generation Haitian-American. She is a single mother of two outstanding young men, Tyler and Maxwell. Dr. Lubin is a board-certified OB/GYN and a native New Yorker. She holds a BS in Biology from The City College of NY and obtained her medical degree from NYIT-New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She did her OB/Gyn residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, now Mount Sinai –Beth Israel. Dr. Sophia, as she likes to be called, is a committed humanitarian who has provided medical relief efforts in places like the Dominican Republic and Haiti. After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, she was interviewed by Anderson Cooper and received a NYC Congressional Award for her work as a first responder. She continues to visit Haiti on an annual basis where she provides free OB/GYN care.
As a practicing OB/GYN, Dr. Lubin provides a wide range of services including but not limited to prenatal care, pap smears, sexually transmitted disease screenings, breast cancer screenings, birth control and the management of menopause. Dr. Sophia also uses her expertise to manage disease processes like irregular periods, fibroids, ovarian cysts and all surgical interventions as needed. Her other passions include women’s rights as well as supporting women who have suffered from post-partum mental health issues and domestic abuse. In addition, she is an active practitioner in aesthetic medicine where she focuses on noninvasive cosmetic techniques and has a special interest in women’s sexual health. My journey began in nursing, where I spent seven years as a labor and delivery nurse in New York hospitals and volunteering in a birth center in Haiti. Craig M. Linder, MD, FACOG, is a caring, compassionate, and dedicated women's health care physician practicing obstetrics and gynecology at the FemmPro OB/GYN locations in Garden City and Massapequa, New York. Dr. Linder has more than thirty years of experience serving women in the community.
A highly grounded professional, he is known for his mild manner and lightheartedness, with a unique ability to put patients and their families at ease. Above all, he focuses his practice on delivering top quality health care to women.
Dr. Linder earned his Bachelor of Science in biology at SUNY Stony Brook, located in Stony Brook, New York. Then, he attended the Medical Academy of Wroclaw in Wroclaw, Poland, where he completed his medical doctorate. Dr. Linder completed his obstetrics and gynecology internship/residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica, Queens. He is currently a Fellow of both the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Marc Behar, MD, FACOG, is a skilled and compassionate physician at FemmPro OB/GYN with locations in Garden City and Massapequa, New York. He is dedicated to providing high-quality women's health care in obstetrics and gynecology services to the women living in and around Long Island.
Dr. Behar completed his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York, where he majored in Biology. I am very disturbed and upset with how dismissive I was treated, no one should feel like they are unseen and not heard, especially when it comes to your health!
I had my first planned c-section that was performed by Dr. Behr due to my baby being breech. Initially everything seemed like it was going well until I started experiencing extreme pain in my pelvic area about 3 weeks after my surgery.
I scheduled my first post-op visit with Dr. Behr. First, he was about 15 min late coming into the office..that's understandable..things happen. I was willing to wait for him because this was also my first visit with him and I really needed to br seen. Dr. Behr came into the office, didnt acknowledge he was late and didn't ask me any questions as far as how I was feeling or how my recovery was going either. He was in such a rush to look at my incisions that he proceeded to do it without even closing the door and giving me privacy! Someone was walking by and i had to asked for them to close the door.
Dr.Behr did apologize for that and said that was a "oversight".
He proceeded to look at my incisions, took the tape off and said everything looked "good" l told him I was in extreme pain, it even hurts to get out of bed and when my bladder is full, I can barely even walk to the bathroom because of the pain. And that i feel pain even when I'm just laying down.
After repeating myself a few times about my pain, Dr.Behr then said he would order a urine sample.That was the only thing he ordered! He didn't even examine the area where my pain is or ask any other questions!
Then, to my surprise, he ordered a UTI test! I don't have a UTI, nor did I explain any symptoms that would describe me potentially having a UTI!
I felt, he did that just to rush me out and make me feel like he was "doing" something. There is a huge concern for this pain I am feeling and I felt like I was dismissed and not heard! It should of been taken more seriously especially by someone who actually performed my surgery and more than a UTI screening should of been done! This is such a shame I had to experience this lack of care especially after a c-section and that he scheduled my next follow up 4 weeks from now! I will not accept this dismissive care and will be looking for someone one who will listen to me and really treat me right! ”

He moved away from his hometown right after graduating and came to NYC for his residency in Lenox Hill Hospital at Northwell Health, NYC. Dr. Vivian E. Roston is an experienced and respected Ob/gyn with over 35 years of medical and academic experience. Vivian Edith Roston, MD born and raised in Queens NY, is a true New Yorker. Dr. Roston received her BA from John Hopkins University in June of 1984 then came back to NY to earn her MD at University of Rochester’s School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1991. After graduating, she completed her residency program at the Harlem Hospital in 1993. After her residency, Dr. Roston has worked as a physician in several hospitals and clinics including New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University, AdvantageCare Physicians, St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital Center, and Locum Tenens where she made an incredible impact as a physician and an educator.
