Michele Lomelino, OD, is an excellent optometrist at Diablo Eye Associates in Walnut Creek, California. A Bay Area native, Dr. Lomelino graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis. There she earned her degrees in neurobiology, physiology and behavior, and English. She continued on to earn her optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry.
To bolster her studies and experience, Dr. Lomelino completed medical externships at the Veterans Affairs (VA) Honolulu Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii, VA Livermore in California, and Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento. After graduating, Dr. Lomelino worked as a clinical research optometrist at Carl Zeiss Meditec before joining our practice in 2014. After traveling the western United States serving a wide variety of patients, Dr. Lomelino brings unmatched experience to her patients at Diablo Eye Associates.

Jimin Lee, OD, is one of the skilled optometrists at Eye Care of East Bay, located in Walnut Creek, California. She provides comprehensive eye care to individuals living in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.
Dr. Lee received her Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley in 2009. She subsequently completed a one-year residency in primary care and geriatric optometry at the Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center, a branch of the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Don Fong, OD, has dedicated his career to advancing vision health. He currently provides expert care to patients at Don Fong OD FGI, a part the DeyeNAMICS Alliance in Sacramento, CA.
Influenced by his father and Pastor Woodward, Dr. Fong developed a strong work ethic that has driven his professional journey. He earned his Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, followed by a Bachelor of Science in physiological optics.
A pivotal experience with a family friend suffering from advanced macular degeneration inspired him to pursue optometry. In 1977, Dr. Fong graduated with his Doctor of Optometry from Salus University, formerly Pennsylvania College of Optometry, in Elkins Park. He then completed a post-doctoral residency at the Gesell Institute.
Dr. Fong holds licenses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California and was honored with the AM Skeffington Award in 1978. Since relocating to Sacramento in 1979, Dr. Fong has been a charter member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) and has served in various leadership roles.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Fong is active in the community through the Capitol Lions International and the Sacramento Executive Association. He is passionate about educating others on vision-related topics, particularly regarding stroke and traumatic brain injury.
In his spare time, Dr. Fong enjoys photography, capturing the beauty of bridges, natural formations, and cityscapes, especially those of New York City.
