Dr. Eric Zuckerman is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 39 years of experience in diagnosing and treating eye diseases in the Livonia community. He was the Residency Program Director in Ophthalmology at Botsford Hospital for 10 years and is a Fellow of both the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

He is also a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Zuckerman has performed over 13,000 cataract and implant procedures and given numerous presentations on the treatment and procedures relating to ophthalmology to both medical staff and patient groups. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the State University of New York in Buffalo and received his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the University of Osteopathic Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He and his wife were high school friends and have been married for 35 years.

 Dr. Manal Peracha-Riyaz is the newest board certified ophthalmologist to join Eye Surgeons Associates. She graduated from the University of Michigan with high honors and then attended medical school at Wayne State University. She completed her ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.

Dr. Peracha-Riyaz provides the latest and most up to date treatments including advanced cataract surgery and medical and surgical care of glaucoma. Above all else, Dr. Peracha-Riyaz prides herself on providing the most compassionate care to each and every patient.

She recently relocated back to Michigan from Washington D.C., where she was named a Washingtonian Top Doctor. She is married with a young daughter and loves spending time with her family. Dr. Peracha is an avid runner, painter, and modern design enthusiast. She is so excited to join her father, brother, and excellent team at Eye Surgeons Associates!

Dr. Massa was born and raised in Saginaw, MI, and completed her undergraduate degree at Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Massa then continued her education further, graduating with honors from Indiana University School of Optometry where she was also a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honors Society. She completed internships at WJB Dorn Veterans Administration Medical Center in Columbia, SC, The Villages Veteran Administration in The Villages, FL, Atwater Eyecare Center in Bloomington, IN, and Cataract and Laser Institute in Fort Wayne, IN with an intensive concentration on ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, and allergies, contact lens fitting, pre-and post-surgery exams, routine vision testing and pediatric eye exams. Dr. Massa had previously worked several years at both Riverfront and Bloomberg Eyecare offices as a technician and optician before she became an optometrist.  

In her free time, Dr. Massa enjoys playing softball, going on hikes, and spending time with her family/friends. She’s always eager to learn about new advancements in the optometry world to provide her patients with the best care possible.

Zuhair Hanif Peracha, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Eye Surgeons Associates in Canton, Monroe, and Livonia, Michigan. He treats patients aged 10 and older and adults in Canton and Monroe for routine eye care needs as well as specialized treatments, including cataract surgery, retinal disease management, eyelid surgery, glaucoma, and diabetic eye treatment. Dr. Peracha graduated with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond before completing medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Leila Siblani graduated from the University of Windsor with a degree in Biological Sciences, and later went on to obtain her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2015. She completed her internships specializing in primary eye care, ocular disease and specialty contact lens wear at the John D Dingell VA medical center, Kresge Eye Institute of Detroit and the Illinois Eye Institute. She provides comprehensive eye care to patients aged 4 and older including diabetic eye care, management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, various eye infections, dry eye disease, a wide range of anterior segment disease and also assists with post-operative cataract care.

Dr. Garrison graduated from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1998. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science at Western Michigan University in 1992. Dr. Garrison joined Riverfront Eyecare in 2018 and has been practicing in both the Flint and Saginaw locations.

In her free time, Dr. Garrison enjoys hiking, playing piano, and playing the oboe. She also spends her time with her three sons as they compete in baseball, wrestling and football.

Dr. Laura Lane, is a true Flint Doctor who grew up in the area, graduating from Davison High School, and receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Ferris State University. Since then she has practiced for the past 20 years in and around the area. She continues to enjoy taking care of new patients of all ages and lives here with her two daughters.
