Dr. Aguero is a graduate of the Southern California College of Optometry. She has been with Inglewood Optometric Center since 1997. She is currently on the board of the Los Angeles County Optometric Society and is a member of both the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. Dr. Aguero has also performed clinical studies for Alcon Pharmaceuticals, Bausch & Lomb, and Cooper Vision.
Dr. Aguero is fluent in Spanish. Her medical focus is on primary care optometry, contact lenses, and low vision for the partially sighted. She is certified to treat glaucoma and ocular disease.
Frank Scolinos, OD, is a highly-trained optometrist at Inglewood Optometric Center, located in Inglewood, California. Dr. Scolinos is certified to treat glaucoma and utilizes the latest technology available for the diagnosis and treatment of your vision needs.
Dr. Scolinos is a clinical trainer for Alcon contact lenses, educating other eye care professionals on the latest contact lens technologies. Dr. Scolinos also serves as an instructor for Alcon’s multifocal contact lens portfolio and has travelled to many offices teaching optometrists on how to be successful in fitting multifocal contact lenses.
Dr. Scolinos obtained his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Cal Poly Pomona and is a graduate of the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He completed a research fellowship at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Scolinos established Inglewood Optometric Center in 1992. He is a member of the California Optometric Association, the South Bay Optometric Society, and the American Optometric Association. He has conducted clinical research studies for Bausch and Lomb, Cooper Vision, Ciba Vision, Inspire Pharmaceuticals, and Alcon Pharmaceuticals. He has been a consultant for multiple ophthalmic companies and has served on several Peer Review and Quality Assurance Committees of various vision plans. He looks forward to meeting new patients and addressing their vision needs.
Dr. Borda is a California native, originally from Silicon Valley. She earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California Irvine where she participated in the research of the evolution of vision. She also has a background in biotech working in the field of genetics.
Dr. Borda pursued her Doctorate of Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences, where she was awarded honors in patient care services. While pursuing her education in Optometry she visited Fiji to provide free comprehensive eye exams to those in need. In her last year of education, she completed externships in ophthalmology practices, community health centers, VA Palo Alto Medical Center and lastly in private practice. Her externships provided her with experience in ocular disease, surgical management, glaucoma workups as well as primary care.
Dr. Borda is a member of the California Optometric Association and is licensed to practice the highest level of optometry, which includes the use of diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents, the treatment and management of glaucoma, and lacrimal dilation and irrigation.
Allen Choi, DO, is a medical optometrist and orthokeratologist practicing at Eye Tech Optometric Center in Buena Park, California. He believes heavily in preventative eye care and educating patients about their eyes.
Dr. Choi graduated from the University of California, Riverside, with his undergraduate degree and went on to study and graduate with a Doctor of Optometry degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. Dr. Choi completed his externships at the Navy Medical Hospital in San Diego and Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, where he received extensive training in specialty contact lenses for patients with keratoconus and other corneal dystrophies. Dr. Choi also rotated through Jackson Vision Clinic in Seattle and was trained in treating glaucoma, dry eyes, and managing post-op cataract surgeries.
Dr. Choi is currently a member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association and is certified by the Board of Optometry for the usage of therapeutics, lacrimal dilation and irrigation, and treatment of glaucoma.

Optometrist Frank Scolinos, OD, established Crossroads Optometry in Torrance, California, in 1996.
Dr. Scolinos graduated with a degree in biological sciences from Cal Poly Pomona and obtained his graduate degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He then completed a research fellowship at the University of Houston College of Optometry in Texas.
He is a proud member of the California Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the South Bay Optometric Society. He currently provides consulting services for Alcon and has been integral in the marketing and fitting of the Air Optix Colors contact lenses for the beauty and fashion industry.
He is certified to treat glaucoma and implements the latest technology available for ophthalmic and contact lenses. He provides consultation services for LASIK, PRK, the Kamra Inlay, refractive lens exchange, and post-cataract intraocular lens options. Dr. Scolinos is proficient in the fitting of multifocal and bifocal contact lenses, and provides specialty contact lens fittings for keratoconus, aphakia, post corneal transplants, and corneal ectasia.
Dr. Nolan Ng is a native Southern Californian and obtained his BS degree in Biological Sciences from UC, Irvine and his doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee with an emphasis in Specialty Contact Lenses.
During his early years in practice and during the span of his career he developed his expertise in the pre-and post-operative care of refractive surgery patients and continued his involvement in advanced vision corrective procedures, both surgical and nonsurgical. While in private practice, he was recruited to be a clinical staff physician at UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute Laser Refractive Center. He eventually departed private practice(temporarily) to work as the Medical/Clinic Director of various LASIK and Refractive Surgery centers throughout California and Arizona.
Dr. Ng has co-lectured on multiple refractive and cataract surgical procedures as well as having assisted in several FDA clinical studies. For contributing back to his profession, he spent several years as an NBEO examiner, an on-call adjunct clinical faculty for Marshall B. Ketchum, SCCO, and an adjunct preceptor for Western University College of Optometry (WUCO). Dr. Ng returned to private practice after purchasing and operating Incredible Eye Care Optometry for over 12 years which he expanded to offer Myopia Control and Specialty Contact Lenses. His practice once served as an externship site for 4th-year optometry students. In 2022, Dr. Ng decided to join Crossroads Optometry to allow himself more time to focus on his passion for teaching optometry students. Currently, he splits his time between private practice and performing his duties for Western University College of Optometry overseeing the development and implementation of a Myopia Control program.
In his free time, he enjoys attending concerts or civic events with his daughter. He enjoys playing tennis, martial arts, and more recently enjoys rollerblading and hiking, but his true love is traveling and snow skiing which he enjoys often with his family.
