Dr. Claudia Younany was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She received her Bachelor in Biology from California State University, Northridge and continued to pursue her Doctorate of Optometry from Western University of Health Science’s College of Optometry, where she graduated with honors. Her clinical training was emphasized in specialty contact lenses and management of ocular diseases, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, glaucoma and dry eye syndrome. With the optometry field evolving, Dr. Younany is continuously learning about the newest techniques and technology to give her patients the best care. Being a lifelong resident of LA, she believes in the importance of establishing a relationship with patients and looks forward to providing the community with quality eye care.

When Dr. Younany isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants and spending time with her family.

Dr. Donna Cooper was born in Taiwan, moved to the U.S. when she was two and was raised in Orange County. She attended the University of California at Riverside for her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, where she maintained a position on the Dean’s honor list. She pursued her doctoral degree in optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry, graduating cum laude. Her work experiences include caring for patients at the Veteran’s Hospital in Los Angeles and the Pearl Harbor naval base in Hawaii. Dr. Steven Saba is a board-certified optometrist who grew up in nearby Los Alamitos, CA. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology. He then went on to pursue his optometric studies at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. Dr. Saba completed his clinical studies with an emphasis in ocular disease management, primary eye care, and pre/ post-operative care for LASIK and cataract patients. Dr. Anand Bhatt is a leading expert in Orange County in the fields of cataract and glaucoma surgery. Prior to his decision to enter private practice, Dr. Bhatt was full-time ophthalmology faculty at the UC Irvine Gavin Herbert Eye Institute and the Veteran’s Hospital in Long Beach, CA. While at UC Irvine, Dr. Bhatt was involved in the cataract and glaucoma surgery training of more than 30 fellow ophthalmologists, including 7 other glaucoma specialists, many of whom practice locally and was recognized by his trainees for his excellence in surgical education with a teaching award.

Tara Shields, OD, is a highly experienced and skilled doctor of optometry at Antelope Valley Optometric Center in Lancaster, California.
