Dr. Brandon began his professional education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, earning his dental degree and graduating with honors. Then, he completed an orthodontic residency at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Brandon completed two hospital externships: one at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the other at Guy’s Hospital in London, England. These experiences taught him to be a compassionate, devoted, and patient-oriented professional. They also enhanced his communication skills and bedside manner.

Before becoming an orthodontist, Dr. Lai graduated from the University of Southern California in 2003, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery and spent seven years practicing as a general dentist in Arizona and Nevada. He then returned to residency for his orthodontic certificate at Roseman University in Henderson, Nevada, graduating in 2013.
Having practiced orthodontics for the past 8 years in different types of settings such as large DSOs, private general practice offices and orthodontic offices has given him valuable experience to handle just about any situation that may present on a daily basis. More importantly, it has given him the knowledge to provide excellent patient care. Artin Meserkhani, DDS, MBA, is a skilled orthodontist practicing at Dental Studio of Pasadena, located in Pasadena, California.
Dr. Artin was raised in a family with a legacy of dental professionals. When he was a young boy, he would spend his summers observing his uncle, who practiced as a general dentist, and also working hands-on with his father, who owns a dental laboratory. Thus, the love to provide care and dentistry was instilled in him from a very young age.
He pursued this passion for dentistry by going to UCSD for his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and cell biology and Loma Linda Dental School. Afterward, Dr. Artin completed a one-year post-graduate internship in orthodontics at Roseman University of Health Sciences while also practicing as a general dentist. He then completed his three-year residency at the school, earning his dual degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics specialty certificate and a Master of Business Administration.

After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine, Dr. Firouz went to UCLA School of Dentistry to receive his Doctorate Degree. He attended University of Connecticut to receive specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 1989. He returned to UCLA to teach and held positions as co-director and chairman of the pre-doctoral dental clinic. His research project in preventative orthodontics was published in the prestigious, American Journal of Orthodontics.
