Following this, he joined the teaching faculty as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, teaching fellows and residents while working at the Hunter Homes McGuire Veterans Administration Medical Center. He later practiced medicine in Overland Park, Kansas before recently relocating to Tampa.
