Russ Poker, PT has been a therapist since 1992 primarily in private practice specializing in general orthopedic care with a focus on neck and back related issues.  He graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook for Physical Therapy and hold degrees in Physical Education from Adelphi University and the Wingate Institute in Israel. Russ speaks Hebrew, Spanish and French which he finds helpful in communicating with his patients. Having a varied background of living abroad, serving in the military and participating in different sports helps him understand people better and put them more at ease. Caryn Blum, MPT has been a therapist for 23 years, and graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. I have worked in all aspects of physical therapy including hospitals, rehab centers, outpatient and now homecare. Dr. Maitreyi Shukla, PT, DPT, MS, Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist has over 10 years of experience. She finished her undergraduate studies in India and since has unending dedication towards patient care while working in various clinical settings with a focus on evidence-based care. She came to the USA to pursue her Masters in Rehabilitation Sciences from the prestigious University of Pittsburgh with a concentration in orthopedic rehabilitation. Since her graduation, she has worked in an outpatient setting with an emphasis on hands-on care while helping complex patients suffering from a myriad of problems achieve their goals. She simultaneously has pursued her passion for learning by achieving her DPT as well as on keeping her education current while pursuing various programs including taping, PNF, and manual therapy. She most recently was named as a board-certified clinical specialist in geriatrics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialities (ABPTS) of American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). A specialist certification that formally recognizes physical therapists who show sincere dedication to pursuing excellence in care with advanced knowledge. She enjoys having conversations with her patients, traveling, reading, and restoring old furniture in her spare time.

Dr. Darnell Peters, PT, DPT graduated from Andrew’s University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2010. He has since worked in various settings from acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient clinics, aqua-therapy, and home care and has over 10+ years of experience as a PT.

Dan earned his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University. Upon graduating, Dan was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society and later received a perfect score on his National Physical Therapy Licensing Boards. His previous academic achievements have reflected his commitment to his education and the profession as a whole.

As part of his Doctoral training, Dan completed multiple clinical rotations across various clinical settings in order to become a well rounded clinician. While at Kingsbrook Medical Center he treated various post-surgical orthopedic and neurological conditions as well as patients with acute traumatic brain injury in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. He accumulated experience working with various orthopedic cases and sports related injuries while completing 2 outpatient rotations in Manhattan. Dan has accrued experience working within a fast paced and complex acute care setting at New York Presbyterian. Here, he worked closely with the medical team evaluating and treating various conditions across multiple medical floors and ICUs with an emphasis on acute stroke rehabilitation.

Dan’s treatment approach is a comprehensive combination of modern pain science education, hands on manual therapy, structured and progressive corrective exercise, and neuromuscular re-education to restore proper movement patterns, promote optimal outcomes and prevent future injury while honoring each patient’s unique goals. Started in 2003, Dr. Somareddy built his practice under the guiding principles of providing quality care that fosters a patient-centered culture committed to improving the lives of everyone who comes through the door. 

As the eldest son in the family, Dr. Somareddy decided to honor his father’s own dedication to patient care, naming his practice after him. Dr. Somareddy’s father, nicknamed “Reddy,” worked as a nurse at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he garnered a reputation for his knowledge, perseverance, and compassionate patient care. Dr. Somareddy knows his success stems from his father’s influence, and he built a team that puts the patient’s needs above all else.

Dr. Somareddy earned his degree at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. Dr. Franklin Sinchi, PT, DPT graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in 2017. During his time in Stony Brook’s Physical Therapy program, he completed clinical affiliations in acute care, pediatric, and outpatient vestibular/neurological/orthopedics. Since graduating, he has worked in an outpatient clinic and In-Home PT. All this has allowed him to treat patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, with a variety of cases ranging from neurological deficits to orthopedic pathology. Dr. Sinchi's areas of interest are in orthopedics, post-surgical care, and neurological rehabilitation. Dr. Adam Barga, PT, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy providing in-home care for Reddy Care patients in Manhattan. He graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Evansville in 2017, having completed a wide variety of clinical experiences including hospital, outpatient, and international rehabilitation settings. He relocated from Indiana to New York following PT school and has worked with the US Army, in an outpatient orthopedic clinic (of which he served as clinic director), and in home care serving children with special needs. Adam has experience with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic post-surgical care, post-concussion rehab, balance and dizziness, pediatric and adolescent care, and he especially enjoys working with older adults who need a boost to improve their daily activity level. Adam’s favorite part of being a physical therapist is the excitement of meeting new people and establishing a relationship of trust, lighthearted humor, and most importantly providing the right level of challenge to help his patients achieve their therapy goals.

Mithun earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at New York Medical College while also completing his Masters in Public Health Policy and Management. Prior to physical therapy school he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biology and a Minor in Psychology from CUNY Brooklyn College. Mithun has a diverse clinical experience and has worked with a variety of patient populations including outpatient orthopedics and post-operative rehab, young athletes, geriatrics, neurological injuries and wound care cases. While in school, he worked with the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps to provide valuable PT services to the underserved Native American populations living in rural Arizona. 

Mithun is passionate about getting patients back to their optimal function by utilizing a holistic approach to treatment. He is also greatly interested in the field of public health and PT advocacy which lead him to pursing his MPH degree. While at NYMC the focus of his Doctoral project was to determine what kinds of personal and financial factors limit a patient from seeking PT treatment for non-specific low back pain. While working with the USPHS he also took initiatives in raising awareness of the opioid crisis as well as public education about Physical Therapy. Mithun utilizes manual therapy techniques, exercise, modalities and patient education to treat a variety of orthopedic conditions especially of the spine and shoulder which are his main interests. 

Mithun was born in India and immigrated to the US with his family at a very young age. Growing up on Long Island, Mithun was involved in a variety of sports throughout his high school and undergraduate years including tennis, winter track, soccer and basketball. In his free time Mithun enjoys exploring the outdoors, rock climbing, fishing, reading, drawing and spending time with his dogs. 

Jed Ong, PT graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree of Physical Therapy from the Philippines. He is one of our home care physical therapists dedicated in serving the population of Queens and has been actively practicing with Reddy Care PT since 2018. Currently, Jed is pursuing his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) at Utica College, NY. He loves treating musculoskeletal conditions and his hobbies include watching live NBA basketball games and traveling around the world.

Dr. Stanline Anto, PT, DPT received his Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from India and his Doctorate from Utica college in NY. Stan has eight years of experience, spending his last three years with Reddy Care. I began in Reddy Care’s home therapy program, where I was for two years, and now I am working in the clinic. I support all of the therapists at the Great Neck location, along with the techs and the front desk. I ensure that patient care is optimal and that every patient has a pleasant experience and that they reach their treatment goals.

Cordell Chapman, PT is a graduate of Northeastern University, and is passionate about physical therapy. When Cordell began this journey over thirty years ago, she didn't foresee the privilege of being able to work in multiple settings such as pediatrics, acute care, orthopedics, in patient and out-patient rehab all have which have sharpened my skills and enhanced my thirst for knowledge. She now enjoys the challenges of working with the geriatric population, particularly with balance disorders, to regain function and independence with activities of daily living. She believes Reddy Care provides a healthy environment for her to serve others, even as she continue to grow as a therapist.
