About Margaret M. Donlon, MD

Dr. Margaret Donlon is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She earned her B.S. degree from Middlebury College and a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) from Yale University.

Dr. Donlon completed her medical school training at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. Dr. Donlon subsequently pursued her Residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark NJ at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. She received additional training in the practice of Medical Acupuncture at the Helms Medical Institute in Berkeley, CA.

About Janel B. Romello, DO

Dr. Romello is a Board-Certified Physiatrist and Fellowship trained in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Interventional Pain Management. 

Dr. Romello earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from York College of Pennsylvania. Originally from New York, she completed her medical school training at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYCOM) at the New York Institute of Technology. Dr. Romello was a member of the Honor Society, Psi Sigma Alpha. While there, she was selected as an Undergraduate Fellow in the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) where she stayed for an additional year instructing first and second year medical students in the OMM laboratory. Gerald F. Gaughan, MD, is a highly experienced physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at Doctors United, with offices in the West Farms and Wakefield neighborhoods in the White Plains, and Ardsley, New York. Becky Passante earned her degree in physical therapy from the University of Connecticut. Becky lives in Madison, CT and services patients in the Branford through Guilford area of Connecticut. She’s amazing! And has 6 children and has worked with us since 2015. Becky treats both neurological and orthopedic patients. Currently I am licensed to practice massage in both Connecticut and New York, and licensed to practice acupuncture only in New York. I am working on taking one more exam that will get me licensed in Connecticut too, though that won't be until the end of the year.

Dr. Caryn McAllister earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 1995 and her Doctorate from Simmons College in 2012. Dr. McAllister started her career at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and quickly began working in homecare in 1996, the same year she developed a brain tumor that required brain surgery. Caryn’s personal and professional experiences motivated her to provide a better environment for people to achieve health & wellness. 

A specialist in neurological rehabilitation, Dr. McAllister’s passions lie in pain management, pelvic floor rehab, spasticity, headache, clinical research and mental health. A consultant for pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, clinical research sites and lawyers, Dr. McAllister has assisted in clinical trial protocol development, training for medical doctors and researchers, physical therapy conduction within global studies and has presented at national professional conferences on spasticity, headache, mindfulness, PT for mental health, collaborative care and the role of rehab in hospice and palliative care.

Ines earned her physical therapy degree from the University of Hartford and has over 20 years experience in the field. Ines joined High Quality Home Therapy in 2016 and works with patients of various ages and diagnoses including pediatrics through geriatrics, and everything in between! She specializes in rehab for hospice and palliative care, joint replacements and neurological disorders. Ines is extremely professional and takes pride in her work. She attends courses and workshops to continuously improve the care she provides to her patients.

Jennifer Barstrom, DPT is a phenomenal physical therapist who is able to work with people of all ages & diagnoses. She is able to navigate the complexities of all medical diagnoses in a way that others struggle. Jen’s husband is also a physical therapist, who worked with us before Jen did, and together they have 4 beautiful children.
