Dr. Makower grew up in various parts of Central Brooklyn, including Crown Heights, Fort Green, and Prospect Lefferts Gardens. After graduating from SUNY Binghamton he began his professional education at Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). After completing a surgical residency program at one of the Harvard affiliated hospitals in Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Makower returned home to begin his professional career in Central Brooklyn.
Outside of treating patients at Downstate Foot & Ankle Podiatry, Dr. Makower has served as the chief of podiatric medicine and surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center and The State University of New York Downstate Medical Center’s University Hospital of Brooklyn. Dr. Cacace began her professional education at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience. Innjea Park, DPM, is a highly experienced podiatrist with years of training, serving patients in the New York area, including Murray Hill, Midtown East, Financial District, and Staten Island.
