Expert podiatrist, Stephanie Carter-Robin, DPM, brings more than 25 years of experience in integrative podiatric medicine to her self-titled, New York City-based practice, serving men, women, and families in Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, and throughout the area of Queens.
Dr. Carter-Robin began her professional pursuits at the University of Louisiana at Monroe in Monroe, Louisiana where she earned her Bachelor of Science. Following graduation, Dr. Carter-Robin moved to New York and enrolled at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, New York. She excelled in the program and obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine four years later.
Dr. Carter-Robin subsequently completed a residency in podiatric primary care as well as a residency in podiatric surgery, both while serving at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals in New York City. She’s board-certified in podiatric medicine, podiatric surgery, and the prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds.
Since entering private practice, Dr. Carter-Robin has served in various positions, including Chief of Podiatry at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. At her practice, Dr. Carter-Robin loves spending one-on-one time with her patients and understanding their unique concerns. She regularly develops custom treatment plans and can address a wide variety of issues, including bunions, hammertoe, heel pain, nail disorders, plantar fasciitis, skin conditions, and sports injuries. Dr. Carter-Robin also specializes in the integrative treatment of diabetic foot problems.
When she isn’t meeting with patients or developing custom treatment plans, Dr. Carter-Robin works to augment her professional skills and education. She also holds hospital privileges at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Maimonides Medical Center, and Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, all in Brooklyn.

Dr. Shapiro graduated with his degree in Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine, in 1990. He then completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at New York College of Podiatric Medicine and Affiliated Hospitals and Institutions from 1990 - 1991.
