Dr. Childers was born and raised in West Virginia. He enlisted in the United States Navy after high school, where his initial interest in the foot and ankle occurred after fracturing his ankle participating in a special forces unit in Airborne School. To become a member, you must have been invited and completed the nerve course as well as perform a number of nerve-related cases. Michael V. Tran, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and wound care specialist in Arlington and Dallas, Texas. After Dr. Bhatt received his medical degree, he completed a three-year comprehensive residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at North Shore-LIJ Hospital in Forest Hills, Queens, New York. There, he rose to the position of chief resident.
Once he completed his residency, Dr. Bhatt worked under Michael Subik, DPM, FACFAS, to earn his fellowship in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.
At Apple Podiatry Group, Dr. Bhatt focuses on partnering with his patients to improve and restore their quality of life. He believes that education and an active lifestyle are keys to preventing lower extremity injuries and promoting overall well-being.

Jarna Rathod-Bhatt, DPM, partners with her husband, Rahul Bhatt, DPM, to run Apple Podiatry Group in Arlington and Flower Mound. She specializes in wound care, lower extremity trauma, and elective foot and ankle reconstruction.
A native of Kenya, Dr. Rathod-Bhatt has lived in the United States since she was 10 years old. She is fluent in Swahili, Gujarati, and Hindi, and hopes to return to Kenya one day on a mission trip to provide care for the people there.
Dr. Rathod-Bhatt studied in New York City and received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Saint John’s University in Hillcrest, Queens. She later earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from New York University located in Washington Square Park, Manhattan.
Dr. Rathod-Bhatt completed her residency in podiatry at North Shore-LIJ Hospital in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, and followed it up with fellowship training at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas. Mentored by Steven Brancheau, DPM, she focused on podiatric surgery and medicine.
