Dr. S. Rick Miller of the Advanced Foot & Ankle Center of North Texas has dedicated the past several decades of his career towards “helping patients maintain their best foot forward.” He extends that promise to patients in or around Carrollton and Plano, TX. From helping sports medicine patients improve their jogging/running performance to helping golfers improve their swings, Dr. Miller understands the importance of foot and ankle functioning for athletic excellence. Dr. Korpinen obtained his undergraduate degree in biology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. A native of Kansas City, Kansas, Dr. Mohiuddin aka “Dr. Mo” completed his undergraduate training at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. He then attended the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he graduated with honors as part of the Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor society. Dr. Mo then relocated to Texas where he completed his residency training at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston.

Prior to founding North Texas Foot & Ankle, Dr. Hausenfluke spent several years practicing surgical foot and ankle reconstruction at the Foot and Ankle Institute at Monrovia, California, where he participated in the BAJA Project for Crippled Children, spending two years, off and on, serving children in clinics in and around the Mexicali, Mexico, area. During that period, Dr. Hausenfluke spent almost every weekend treating pediatric limb deformities with conservative care and surgical reconstruction. “I got to know the children so well,” comments Hausenfluke, “I could recognize their cries from another room. They were very special to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed my work there. There’s nothing like healing children.”

Dr. Hausenfluke also dedicated a great deal of time to third-world pediatric intervention through “Operation Footprint,” sponsored by the Rotary Club in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where he volunteered his skills in the treatment of pediatric congenital limb deformities.

In January of 2005, Dr. Hausenfluke joined a medical team based out of Baylor hospital of Garland. The surgical mission performed 53 surgical procedures at the Predisan mission in Catacamas, Honduras.             

From 2005-2007, Dr. Hausenfluke led a medical team along with E3 ministries to the Amazon basin in South America. The team spent seven days going from river village to river village, establishing daily clinics to care for the needs of the Brazillian natives.  “I grew a new respect for those who live off the land, and I truly admire the people of the Amazon Basin.”

Dr. Freeland received her undergraduate degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University in College Station. He then completed his internship and residency in foot and ankle surgery at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he served as chief resident.

After spending the first part of his career in Minnesota, Dr. Clair relocated to Texas in 2021.

Dr. Christian Morrison was raised in northern Idaho, and earned his bachelor of sciences degree with an emphasis in microbiology from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He then went on to earn his doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery from California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, CA. Dr. Morrison served as chief resident in the Department of Surgery's devision of Podiatric Surgery at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX, and has been published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Morrison is a member of Texas Podiatric Medical Association as well as the American Podiatric Medical Association and Minimally Invasive Foot & Ankle Society (MIFAS). Dr. Morrison is married with two doodles, and his family is very active in community/religious charity endeavors. Dr. Asif Khan was raised in the metro Detroit area, and earned his bachelor degree from the University of Michigan, Dearborn. Dr. Khan retuned to Michigan to complete his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Beaumont Health, where he served as Chief Resident his final year of training. He then went on to complete fellowship, also at Beaumont Health, in Diabetic Limb Salvage and Wound Care. Dr. Khan is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM).
