Lastly, not only does he taps into eastern medicine principles and homeopathic type treatments in conjunction with his western medicine training, but he also has an extensive knowledge in proper footwear for runners, basketball, and tennis athletes which he uses as part of his comprehensive treatment protocols.
Dr. Patel graduated from undergrad at NYU concentrating in Biochemistry and was a part-time teaching assistant in calculus, organic chemistry and physics. He then graduated the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2001 with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. He began a comprehensive 4 year residency program at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, New York, finishing as chief resident in July 2005 and earning Chief Resident of The Year honors among nearly 50 peers. His surgical training encompassed everything from bunions and hammertoes to trauma and clubfoot deformities.
Dr. Patel has also lectured at various hospitals and in 2001, provided abstracts for the Compendium of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and regularly volunteers at health fairs for the economically underserved.
In his spare time he enjoys playing sports, reading, traveling, concert going (you may run into him at an EDM show!) and watching movies. His background as a basketball hooper and tennis player comes in handy when he's treating his athletes! Lastly he's also a big pop culture guy who is into comics, videogaming, sci-fi and even goes to Comic-Con!

Dr. Howard Reifer received his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. His primary podiatric residency was completed at the Brunswick General Hospital and podiatric surgical fellowship training was completed at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. He is a current member of American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Howard Reifer has practiced podiatry for over 15 years and has earned a reputation for excellent care. He is extensively trained in providing comprehensive care of the foot and ankle, whether trauma from sports injuries, ankle sprains, plantar fasciitis, heel pain, ingrown toe nails, corns, calluses, and warts. Each patient is thoroughly evaluated and all treatment options are explained completely and in terms that are easily understood.
Noe Garza, DPM completed his residency training at Bellevue Hospital Center and Woodhull Medical Center in New York, NY. He earned his DPM degree from Kent State University. He is also a fellow of the American College of Podiatric Medicine and board certified by the ABPM. Dr. Garza enjoys spending time with wife, his son, and the family dog. Through providing compassionate care, Dr Garza becomes a trusted partner in a patient's whole body health journey.
Dr. Emmanuel Bustos received his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. His podiatric surgery residency was completed at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he received his Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with Reconstructive Rear foot and Ankle Certification. Dr. Bustos specializes in Podiatric treatments such as bunion surgical correction, pediatric foot problems, toenail fungus, foot fracture repair, sports injuries, diabetic foot issues, procedures for heel spurs and issues with the ankle. Dr. Bustos truly enjoys treating his patients and his patients appreciate him as well. Dr. Bustos is fluent in both English and Spanish.
