Dr. S. Dr. Christian Morrison was raised in northern Idaho, and earned his bachelor of sciences degree with an emphasis in microbiology from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Morrison served as chief resident in the Department of Surgery's devision of Podiatric Surgery at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, TX, and has been published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Morrison is a member of Texas Podiatric Medical Association as well as the American Podiatric Medical Association and Minimally Invasive Foot & Ankle Society (MIFAS). Dr. Asif Khan was raised in the metro Detroit area, and earned his bachelor degree from the University of Michigan, Dearborn. Dr. Khan retuned to Michigan to complete his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Beaumont Health, where he served as Chief Resident his final year of training. Upon graduation from Podiatry School with honors, she was selected by faculty and clinical staff to receive the American Board of Podiatric Medicine award for excellence in Podiatric Medicine exhibiting high standards of professional conduct, probity, academic achievement and moral rectitude. She went on to complete a 3 year surgical and medical residency at West Houston Medical Center in Houston, Texas where she was privileged the position of Chief Resident. Dr. Jacoby is a Podiatrist that specializes in congenital, traumatic and long standing deformities of the foot and ankle. She enjoys stem cell therapy, complex wounds and advanced treatment options. A Texas native, Dr. Smith was born and raised in Houston. He attended Texas A&M University, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science in BioMedical Science. A diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery, Dr. De Yoe is a California native. He attended Pepperdine University in Malibu and received his undergraduate degree in sports medicine. From there, he attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, graduating with honors. 

For his residency, Dr. De Yoe entered the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency Program in Houston, Texas. This program is widely regarded as one of the top surgical residency programs in the nation. 

During the last year of his residency, Dr. De Yoe served as chief resident and was awarded a one-year fellowship in reconstructive surgery of the ankle and foot. Rahul Bhatt, DPM, partners with his wife, Jarna Rathod-Bhatt, DPM, to lead Apple Podiatry Group in Arlington and Flower Mound. Dr. Bhatt specializes in both surgical and nonsurgical foot and ankle treatment.

A native of Kenya, Dr. Rathod-Bhatt has lived in the United States since she was 10 years old. She is fluent in Swahili, Gujarati, and Hindi, and hopes to return to Kenya one day on a mission trip to provide care for the people there.

Dr. Rathod-Bhatt studied in New York City and received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Saint John’s University in Hillcrest, Queens. She later earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from New York University located in Washington Square Park, Manhattan.

Dr. Rathod-Bhatt completed her residency in podiatry at North Shore-LIJ Hospital in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, and followed it up with fellowship training at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas. Mentored by Steven Brancheau, DPM, she focused on podiatric surgery and medicine.

Matthew Hausenfluke, DPM, is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon at North Texas Foot & Ankle, which has locations in Dallas and Garland, Texas.

Prior to founding North Texas Foot & Ankle, Dr. Hausenfluke spent several years practicing surgical foot and ankle reconstruction at the Foot and Ankle Institute at Monrovia, California, where he participated in the BAJA Project for Crippled Children, spending two years, off and on, serving children in clinics in and around the Mexicali, Mexico, area. During that period, Dr. Hausenfluke spent almost every weekend treating pediatric limb deformities with conservative care and surgical reconstruction. “I got to know the children so well,” comments Hausenfluke, “I could recognize their cries from another room. They were very special to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed my work there. There’s nothing like healing children.”

In January of 2005, Dr. Hausenfluke joined a medical team based out of Baylor hospital of Garland. The surgical mission performed 53 surgical procedures at the Predisan mission in Catacamas, Honduras.             

From 2005-2007, Dr. Hausenfluke led a medical team along with E3 ministries to the Amazon basin in South America. The team spent seven days going from river village to river village, establishing daily clinics to care for the needs of the Brazillian natives.  “I grew a new respect for those who live off the land, and I truly admire the people of the Amazon Basin.” 

After graduating from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in biomedical science, Dr. Hausenfluke attended Des Moines University in Iowa, where he earned his doctorate in podiatry. He then began his residency at the Veteran’s Administration and Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. There he mastered his skills in the treatment of diabetic limb salvage and diabetes-associated ailments. Dr. Hausenfluke has said, “It is my sincerest desire to help heal my patients with as little discomfort and inconvenience as possible.”
