Anthony Tickner, DPM, is a podiatrist and founder of Associated Foot Specialis in Holden, Massachusetts. Dr. Tickner is an experienced and compassionate professional dedicated to delivering the best possible care to his patients and the community.
Dr. Tickner received his podiatric medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed advanced wound healing training at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
He studied biometabolism and chemical processes at Binghamton University and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from SUNY Brockport.

Dr. Quan was born and raised in Massachusetts. He is board certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society. Dr. Emlen grew up on Mount Desert Island, Maine, home of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. He attended undergraduate school at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia for 2 years before transferring to Hunter College in New York City. Following his undergraduate education, Dr. Emlen worked at an EMT in New York City while completing his post-baccalaureate pre-med courses at Hunter College Dr. Emlen graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2018.
Dr. Emlen completed his podiatric medical and surgical residency at Lenox Hill Hospital on the Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan. This program has a strong emphasis on forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction as well as diabetic wound care. At Lenox Hill Hospital he trained under many podiatrists, as well as orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons, and served as the chief resident in his final year of training.

Brad Ciano, DPM, FACFAS, is the newest member of the Blackstone Valley Foot and Ankle family, joining in 2018. Dr. Ciano is a native Rhode Islander, growing up in North Providence.
He attended Merrimack College, graduating in 2003, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine with a focus in Athletic Training. Specializing in the evaluation and rehabilitation of sports related foot and ankle conditions, he has extensive experience utilizing custom orthotics. Dr. Ciano obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2011 from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He then completed his 3-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Residency at Roger Williams Medical Center, a program which emphasizes forefoot and rear foot reconstructive surgery, as well as diabetic wound care and limb salvage. There, he served as Chief Resident in his final year of training and completed over 1,500 surgical procedures.
Dr. Ciano is a board-certified foot surgeon affiliated with American Podiatric Medical Association, the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

A Merrimack Valley native, Dr. Daryl Silva, DPM was born and raised in Lowell, Massachusetts.
He studied Podiatry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, one of the largest and most respected schools of Podiatric medicine and surgery in the country. He went on to complete his residency at a large nearby Level I trauma-center, Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Silva then had the honor of serving as Chief Resident his final year.
With his strong personal and familial ties to Massachusetts Dr. Silva endeavored to return to the area.
He is trained in conservative and surgical Podiatry with significant experience in forefoot, rearfoot, trauma surgery, and wound-care.
Dr. Mishra spent most of his childhood in the Boston area. He graduated from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami and completed his residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn. He has done volunteer work in Bangalore, India, treating diabetic foot patients and educating them on the dangers of diabetes and foot ulcers. He also was involved in wound image research and analysis at the University of Michigan Medical School with Dr. James Wrobel. He is a co-author on several highly cited publications on wound image analysis and its applications toward the development of wound healing prediction models.
Dr. Mishra’s current clinical interests include diabetic foot care and limb preservation. He also does biomechanical evaluations and fitting for custom orthotics.
Dr. Mishra’s hobbies include music, travel, and photography. He likes singing 80s or classic rock. He loves Northern European travel and has recently travelled to Munich, Salzburg, and Stockholm.
