Absolute Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center in Glen Allen and Chesterfield, Virginia, provides comprehensive dermatology services to people living in and around Richmond. The combined skills of fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon William Gillen, MD, and general dermatologist Patricia O’Connor, MD, allow the practice to offer complete dermatologic care for every patient. The practice provides a team-based approach to patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.

Dr. Gillen has extensive training in surgical tumor removal and reconstruction for skin cancer patients, including large and complex tumors requiring a multidisciplinary approach. Dr. O’Connor offers general dermatology services that are both medical and aesthetic to deal with issues such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, melasma, and much more.

Absolute Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center is pleased to offer skin care products from Elta MD, ZO Skin Health, and SkinCeuticals. They also offer Allergan injectable products, including Juvederm® and Botox®, as well as Revance RHA Filler.

Dr. Gillen and Dr. O’Connor served as co-residents for their three years of Dermatology training at Virginia Commonwealth University, both chief residents in their last year. Working closely together to develop treatment plans for their mutual patients, they perfected their team-based approach to practicing dermatology as well as leadership. After spending four years working and training in various environments, they look forward to taking the best of these experiences and make Absolute Dermatology the absolute best team for every patient’s comprehensive dermatologic care.
