My eyes have done spectacularly since Dr. Gilbert skillfully removed two cataracts that had hampered my vision badly. The worst cataract had grown over a shingles scar. His removal of that and insertion of corrective lense made a noticeable improvement of my vision through that eye. Recovery was complication free, and I was able to have the other cataract removed with confidence. His optometrist did an excellent job did an excellent job prescribing my corrective lenses, and I have had no problems with the lense inserts through the year. In my book Dr Gilbert is skilled, caring, supportive, and answers questions. The staff has been very helpful, but yesterday was hard to reach by the phone when I had difficulty finding office. I’ve seen many specialists over the years and Dr Gilbert has been the most effective in reducing my intraoccqular pressures. The cataract surgery was also seamless and I can see colors so much more vividly. And my vision is better than ever.
