Interventional Pain Center is an outstanding pain management practice in Norman, Oklahoma, where anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain medicine physician James Stephens, DO, addresses the pain management needs of adults of all ages in a welcoming, relaxing setting. Dr. Stephens has recently been joined by Tyler Phillips, MD to further their shared goal of helping patients suffering from chronic pain.

Dr. Stephens and Dr Phillips practice the full scope of interventional pain management  to decrease patient discomfort, improve bodily function and mobility, and help patients live life to its fullest.

Interventional Pain Center uses advanced, cutting-edge technologies and procedures to reduce ongoing pain. Dr. Stephens is a national leader in sacroiliac (SI) fusion, kyphoplasty, and Vertiflex™ Superion® procedures. He’s adept at implementing and explaining advanced interventions.  Dr. Phillips is additionally passionate about intradiscal therapies and basivertebral nerve ablation. Dr. Phillips lectures nationally and is a physician educator for multiple medical device companies.

Interventional Pain Center also offers spinal cord stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, basivertebral nerve ablation with the Intracept Procedure by Relievant, workers’ compensation treatment, pain injections, intrathecal pain pumps for cancer pain, and other minimally invasive procedures.
