Dr. Garcia provided me with a caring and wonderful environment. She truly cares & listened to my concerns. I felt at ease in her presence & felt like she valued my perspective. She really took time to be calm, patient & kind to meShow more. I felt heard and hopeful about my care plan & future. Please know if this was a survey just about her it would be 5 stars. 3 stars feels unfair to her so 4 stars is solely on my experience with Dr. Garcia. However, her nursing staff that I worked with on June 30 and today (Nurse Hodges on June 30 & another nurse who I didn’t catch her name this morning. Just know she has red hair) were rude to me and made me feel very uncomfortable & unwelcome. I used to see Dr.Phillips and loved seeing him over the years. I hoped when I found a new team at AAOBGYN it would be the same experience. Nurse Hodges took no time to get to know me or my history. When I explained I struggle with weight, she said something to the effect “well you need to eat less. You know that right?” And then offered to connect me to a nutritionist who I thought would be a referral to a local office but it was an 1800 program that relentlessly called me. I politely disagreed with her overall care plan (asking me to take hormones versus I wanted to test my hormones first for health and also to get to the bottom of my long bleed periods before I started hormones). Instead of ordering hormone lab tests I was told to come in to speak with Dr. Garcia for permission to run hormone labs since I didn’t want to do Nurse Hodges care plan. I thought it was a strange reply but I complied. When I met with Dr. Garcia she affirmed me it was good timing to get my hormone labs since I’ve been off birth control for about a year and only had two long periods just in the past two months. The nurse who walked me back today didn’t even say hello & practically dropped the door on me. With her back to me walking far ahead, she held a urine cup out & said you need to give us a urine sample. I asked “how come? I gave one a couple weeks ago.” She turned around & started talking in a sarcastic sing-song voice while shrugging “well you gotta do it again.” And again I asked “why though?” And “it’s what Doctor wants” and I said “I can’t walk as fast as you & you’re not even looking at me.” To which she replied “that’s fine.” I asked her if I did something wrong and while she said no - her attitude suggested otherwise. I didn’t appreciate the interaction basically trying to keep up with someone while also being snapped & eye rolled at. Not sure if she’s close to Nurse Hodges and was upset about me disagreeing but it felt very uncomfortable & rude. It brought me to tears in the exam room. I didn’t think disagreeing with a care plan and advocating for my needs was something deserving of this kind of treatment. I overheard her telling doctor I refused to give a urine sample or weight but I explained to Dr. Garcia I’m not a difficult patient - and didn’t mean to refuse, I simply wanted clarity on why another sample was needed when I gave one so recently and that the nurse didn’t explain to me why. The medical assistant was nice to me today & I appreciate that. Doesn’t seem like providing basic professionalism & kindness from the other staff is a lot to ask. Overall - I really enjoy Dr. Garcia & hope I can work with her in the future. But I’m very nervous & uncomfortable about working with her nurse staff.
I love Dr. Phillips. He has great energy. He delivered my third baby and then I went to him 7 months postpartum to have surgery for a prolapse issue. I came away from surgery with wonderful results! I couldn't be happier with my cShow morehoice to be a patient of Dr. Phillips. When it came to delivering my third baby, Dr. Phillips asked me about my plans for pain management during labor. It was the first time I had a care provider ask me about my plans and expectations. When I shared with him how I wanted an epidural, but I did not like how past epidurals left me so numb I can't feel my legs and get leverage to push. He said....and it was so simple..."just tell the anesthesiologist your concerns and they can give you a lighter epidural." I had no idea this was a request I could make. I had no idea I could go "lighter" on my epidural. It was great. I did as Dr. Phillips said and the anesthesiologist was more than happy to help me out. He gave me a lighter epidural that took the edge off the pain, but allowed me to feel the urge to push and use my legs to gain leverage. Great experiences all around. I also love the staff at AAOBGYN as well as St. David's North. The nurses are amazing!

Warm, welcoming and positive experience!
Wonderful experience with Dr Garcia! She’s such a good Dr, amazing person! She cares and is the best at what she does. I had C section done by her, recovery was fast. They scar is bare minimum! She even removed the previous scar during the surgery which I really appreciate.
Dr. Garcia is wonderful! I have been a patient of hers for several years and she always takes the time to talk and really listens to any concerns I have. She has a wealth of knowledge and I highly recommend her!
I always leave my prenatal appointments with Dr. Garcia feeling less anxious. As a first time mom, she's been such a calming and supportive resource and is always willing to answer questions and make you feel heard.
Dr. Garcia is everything I’ve been looking for in a provider! So gentle and patient, and I could tell she loves her patients and loves what she does! Would recommend Dr. Garcia to anyone who has hesitations going to the gynecologist.
Dr. García the BEST. I love her. ❤️
Dr. Garcia is wonderful! I highly recommend her and the practice - they very knowledgeable, kind and supportive. Great experience!
Dr. Garcia and her team are so great! We just moved from out of state where we loved our OB and were so happy after we met Dr. Garcia and loved her just as much!! She is so bubbly and positive and always makes the appointments fun. Cannot recommend her more!
She is very pleasant and she explains in details what you need to understand
Great check-in/out, knowledgeable and friendly MA, and love my doctor!
I have been seeing Dr. Garcia for 6 years, and she is nothing short of excellent. It is evident that Dr. Garcia deeply values her role as a physician. She is genuine, so very kind and patient, and she is confident in her knowledge and skills as a doctor. Every wellness exam, Dr. Garcia tells me exactly what she’s doing and why. She makes sure that I am educated and confident with my body. I recently had a polyp removed from my uterus by Dr. Garcia, and my anxiety quickly dissipated when Dr. Garcia explained in detail what she would be doing to remove it. I am so very grateful for Dr. Garcia.
Dr. Garcia is always so warm and welcoming. Regardless of my concerns, she’s always able to answer my questions while easing my anxiety. I highly recommend her!
Love Dr Garcia! She’s the sweetest and such an awesome doctor.
The best Doctor. I love her. Dr. García is amazing, super kind, always smile and explain everything super well. Also, her nurse Cielo is amazing. The best staff. 100 % recommended
Great once a year visit!
Dr. Garcia's support has meant the world to me during this incredibly tough time. I recently experienced a heartbreaking missed miscarriage, and when I went to her for my visit just a day after it happened, she wrapped me in a warm, tight hug that instantly brought back memories of my mother. It was especially touching because I'm far away from my parents right now. In that moment, Dr. Garcia made me feel like I wasn't alone in my pain and grief. Her compassion and empathy went beyond just medical care; it felt like she was there for me as a friend and a source of comfort when I needed it the most. I'm truly grateful for her kindness during this difficult journey.
Dr. Garcia is so warm and compassionate and always takes time to answer my questions. I’m super thankful to have her as my doctor!
Dr Garcia, is the best. She is kind, has empathy and is the best at what she does
Love Dr Garcia and her staff. Only negative about practice is the difficulty of trying to get a hold of a person to talk to if you have a question. Always seems to turn into a 2 or 3 day ordeal!
Dr Garcia was amazing and listened to all of my questions and provided me with thorough answers and information. Only giving 4 stars because I waited an hour past my appointment time.
Dr. Garcia is amazing, informative, and very friendly!
Very nice experience
Very patient and friendly, fills positive energy :)
Dr. Garcia is truly the best doctor I have ever met. Her level of care is unmatched and it truly feels like I have two partners in this pregnancy!
