I have suffered with sinus issues for my whole life and I finally made the decision to see an ENT. My referat was to Dr Ashley Dao and she discovered my sinuses were in bad shape turbinates completely closed and deviated septum. Dr.Daotook time to explain what need to be done completely and during the exam she has such a gental touch it made my experience so easy. Then from there she fully explains what she has to do to repair your issues and she does this with extreme confidence and puts you at ease. I would recommend Dr. Dao to anyone especially if you have had a bad experience in the past.

Ashley Dao, MD, is a board-certified otolaryngologist and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Dao is a valuable part of the team of ear, nose, and throat specialists at Beach Cities ENTS in Torrance, California.
Dr. Dao completed her Bachelor of Science in biomedical science from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She received her medical education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed her otolaryngology residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Since graduating in 2018, she has excelled at providing exceptional care to men, women, and children in the South Bay.
Dr. Dao has expertise is in treating a wide range of conditions including sleep apnea, snoring, sinus infections, nasal congestion, and head and neck cancer. She offers minimally invasive, in-office procedures for treating sudden hearing loss and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders.
As the resident expert in treating sleep surgery, Dr. Dao has specialized training in using the Inspire® hypoglossal nerve stimulator implant to treat obstructive sleep apnea. This is a new and innovative breakthrough treatment option even when CPAP has failed.
In her spare time, Dr. Dao spends as much as time as she can outdoors. She enjoys camping, biking, taking care of her many plants, and would like to try surfing. She also loves to travel, both domestically and abroad.

Professional and personal. Dr. Dao takes all the needed time to explain procedures and review results, patiently answering questions. Pleasant staff and I felt comfortable with their safety procedures in the waiting room as well as patient room. I highly recommend!
