Dr. Egan and her staff are AmaZingggg!!! Back in May 2022 I'd went to the emergency room because a I was having very bad pains in my stomach. Results came back I had two hernias. My first time ever having hernias or needing surgerShow morey. So I did some research for Best Surgeons in Texas. A lot of surgeons came up but know man or woman surgeon compare to Dr. Egan. So I contacted her office set up an appointment, seen her two days later. She explained everything to me perfectly and made me feel comfortable. Came July 2022 Dr. Egan removed my umbilical hernia same day procedure, I was able to go home after. For my first time ever having Surgery it went well. I didn't feel no pain from the surgery. I'd Thank God for what he done and connecting me with Dr. Egan. If your needing to have surgery done for any hernia I highly recommend Dr. Egan and her staff.
Dr. Ashley Egan is an excellent Surgeon and Physician! She is a Professional whose attributes include being knowledgeable, intelligent, conscientious, friendly, and caring. Dr. Egan seeks to bring comfort and relief to her patienShow morets. She respects all of her patients and treats them with compassion and dignity. Dr. Egan easily relates to her patients by asking how they are doing, and this kind of interaction creates a sense of connection, which shows that she cares. Dr. Egan is an active listener as her patients describe their health history and need for surgery. She doesn't rush through the Office Visits (or telemedicine visits-due to Pandemic), even though her schedule is jam-packed with surgeries and appointments! Lastly, Dr. Egan is an Encourager, which enables patients to follow her instructions since you feel connected to her. Her instructions are always clear because she takes the time to explain and simplify technical and medical terminology. I highly recommend Dr. Ashley Egan to all my friends and family!!

Throughout her education, Dr. Egan served in leadership positions and received numerous awards, scholarships, and honors, including SEC Student Athlete of the Year. She was the starting goalkeeper on the University of Georgia soccer team during her college years. She has enjoyed transitioning her competitiveness and desire to improve from the soccer field into the operating room.
Outside of work, Dr. Egan enjoys playing golf, crossfit, and cooking. Most of all, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Rick, and son Thomas.

Dr.Egan is very informative. She has a very good personality. She listens to your concerns and health problems. You never feel rushed out of the office/room. She is very good at what she does. I’ve had a hiatal hernia repair performed by her and would recommend her to anyone I know that is in need of her services. She goes above and beyond for her patient’s.

As I age have endured a few times where surgery was required and among those surgeons, Dr. Egan was definitely the "top of the class". Don't believe there is one better than Dr. Egan for patience, listening, offering suggestions and allowing the patient to make intelligent decisions about when or whether to have surgery. The outcome was definitely worth moving ahead and taking care of a problem which would only be more difficult as I get older.
I was checked in quickly. Not too long before being called back to be roomed. Dr Egan was very pleasant. She explained my procedure and easy to understand her. Megan did the scheduling, she spoke a little fast but the might just my age. Overall good experience.
