I really like Dr. Wallis. I saw him for the first time in March 2023 when I suffered a terrible shoulder injury from a nasty fall that required shoulder replacement surgery. I was happy with the surgery and my follow up appointmShow moreents. He was honest & forthright with me regarding my recovery. He has a great "bedside manner." Because of that I recommended him to a close friend of mine who also had a shoulder issue, not as serious as mine, but appreciated his services. In the 9 months since that injury, I've had a painful hip that I also sought his services for. Again, he was direct about the diagnosis and recommended PT treatment. The office personnel are friendly and generally on time. I also appreciate that he has on site Xray available.
I was treated well and didn't have to wait a long time. My surgery was scheduled and I was told what to expect. Getting the needed tests for surgery was a nightmare, but that's because we didn't know the right information to give Show moremy primary care doctor, Dr. Sangouk Lee, who could have ordered all the tests with results to go to him to clear me for surgery. As a result, I was treated as a new patient at Genesis Medical when I wouldn't have had to deal with them at all. It resulted in hours of wasted time sitting in a wheelchair and the misery that went with it.
Dr. Wallis is one of the board-certified orthopaedic surgeons practicing at Orthopaedic Institute of Henderson, located in Henderson, Nevada. He specializes in hip, knee, and shoulder replacement, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, and upper and lower extremity fracture care. His special interests include complex and revision hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, minimally invasive anterior hip replacement, and outpatient joint replacement.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in 2007, Dr. Wallis earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He then completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In 2019 Dr. Wallis completed a fellowship in advanced joint reconstruction at the renowned Joint Implant Surgeons group in New Albany, Ohio, where he trained under the tutelage of Drs. Adolph Lombardi Jr and Keith Berend, both of whom are world-renowned joint replacement surgeons. During his training, Dr. Wallis was involved in orthopaedic research, resulting in the publication of numerous book chapters and scholarly articles. He has also given many formal presentations within the orthopedic community. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Dr. Wallis is dedicated to exploring all treatment options with his patients, both surgical and non-surgical. If surgery is required, Dr. Wallis utilizes multi-modal pain protocols and enhanced recovery pathways to help patients recuperate quickly with as little pain as possible.
Though he has lived most of his life in the Midwest, Dr. Wallis now calls Henderson his home, together with his wife and four children. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, hiking, cycling, and spending time with his growing family.

He’s good and thorough
No bedside manner. Very dismissive and rude. This review is not in response to the fact that he won't perform my surgery, but the manner in which he addressed it. Will NOT return to Dr. Wallis and will NOT recommend him.

Very little wait time, all questions are answered. I have confidence in Dr. Wallis before surgery and after. I have been able to call in and receive answers for filling out forms or pretty much any question I have. Clinic is clean and professional and less than 15 minutes of wait time every visit. I definitely recommend Dr. Wallis at OIH.

Had a great experience with Dr. Wallis . He did both my right and left partial knee surgery . I am happy with the outcome and great relief from the bone to bone pain I experienced before the surgery. Dr Wallis is very experienced and knowledgeable and he gave me different options and what to expect after surgery . I am highly recommending Dr. Wallis for any Orthopaedic surgery needs .

Dr. Wallis and staff has a subtle sweet and comfortable personality and mentality is very easy to talk with him and he relay exactly what is going on back with you the communication is excellent yes I would recommend him to anyone the one thing I love and like he doesn't push unnecessary if he feels like it is necessary he will communicate that with you if not he relays options with the possibility that it may need to be done still later on but not right at this particular moment overall excellent excellent professionalism

Extremely satisfied Dr. Wallis, MD and his staff. I'm hard of hearing and yes have hearing aids sometimes still hard to hear and understand. He clearly explained the upcoming surgery, and instilled confidence in my mind. Dr. Wallis and his staff were helpful and courteous.

This place has helped me with a major surgery and a ‘minor’ surgery. Both has helped to minimized the pain and helped me walk somewhat better The only thing is at times it does get a bit crowded so you may have to wait a bit. It’s not very often it gets backed up. I have used two different doctors and both have good ‘bedside’ manners and will take the time to talk to you.

Dr did a hip replacement, didn’t even realize i had a surgery! It went well and had very little pain. Recovery has been smooth. Had the stitches out on schedule and all is looking well. Very happy and Dr Wallis did an excellent job. Highly recommend
