About Mrs. Carol Mckinney, LMSW, CASAC-T

Carol J. McKinney, PhD, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker at Victory Recovery Partners, which has locations in Farmingville, Shirley, and Massapequa, New York. She specializes in helping people and families struggling with addiction issues. She has also received training in harm reduction, problem gambling, and CBT training.

Dr. McKinney completed her undergraduate studies at the State University of New York, where she majored in human development psychology. She earned her master’s degree at Boston University and later a PhD in clinical psychology studies in addiction.

Before joining Victory Recovery Partners, Dr. McKinney held a variety of professional positions. She worked as a behavioral health clinician, where she conducted biopsychosocial assessments and as a supervisor and senior counselor.

Dr. McKinney is a member of the American Psychology Association, the National Association of Social Workers, and the Association of Social Work Boards.
