About Ms. Dawn Harris, CASAC

Dawn Harris, CASAC-Adv, is a certified alcohol drug counselor at Victory Recovery Partners, which has locations in Farmingville, Shirley, and Massapequa, New York. 

Dawn completed training in substance abuse counseling from South Oaks Training Institute for Alcoholism and Addictive Behavior Studies in Amityville, New York, in 1995. She has been a credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselor through the New York State Office of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Services since 1999.

Prior to joining Victory Recovery Partners, Dawn served as the program director and counselor at an addiction and recovery facility in Ronkonkoma, New York, and a counselor and assistant director at several facilities in the New York City area. 

She also facilitated weekly groups to assist inmates with behavior modifications to avoid relapse and assisted with discharge planning for aftercare upon their release. These real-world experiences with patients gave Dawn the knowledge necessary to successfully treat and support her patients at Victory Recovery Partners.
