After five days of horrific pain, I ended up at pain management. Dr. Dinh was the doctor that saw me. She explained in a clear manner what was causing my pain and how it could be located in three different areas and how she was goShow moreing to give me my first injection in the most obvious place - my hip area. That is where the most intense pain was radiating from. Right before the procedure was to begin, I was informed that I needed a preauthorization. I cannot explain how I felt. It was too much for me to handle. I had to go home in pain. The next day I called the office and they told me I was approved. Unfortunately the office informed me that I would need to wait for five days before I could be seen again. I could not have imagined waiting that long as my pain was excruciating. I received a call from the office and was told that Dr. Dinh was willing to fit me in that afternoon. Well, I received my injection which relieved most of the pain. There are no words that can express my gratitude for Dr. Dinh who showed compassion to a person in need. There are not many doctors out here anymore who actually care about the patient. I will never forget her for what she did for me. She is one of a kind. Thank you Dr. Dinh
I am 71 1/2 years old; for 53 Years, the different doctors I have seen for my migraines have prescribed Fiorinal #3. Dr.Dinh is the FIRST& ONLY doctor that has addressed the unhealthy, INEFFECTIVE medication with Codeine. My Show moreconsistently taking this med made me Opiod Dependent!! Dr. Dinh asked ALL the appropriate highly productive HEALTHY actions to STOP my dependency on Opioids. I write again, 53 years to meet finally Dr. Dinh, who starting today, is working for me to END my addiction to Opioids!!!
Elysha Dinh, MD, is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management. She treats acute and long-standing pain problems at the International Spine Pain & Performance Center with offices in Washington, D.C., and Arlington, Virginia.
Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, Dr. Dinh received her medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. She completed her residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in interventional pain at Virginia Commonwealth University Health in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Dinh explored her passion for medicine and service through research at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and other volunteer opportunities in the community.
Through her work at both the academic hospital center and the local veteran's hospital, she gained experience in the wide variety of treatments available for chronic pain and cared for a diverse cohort of patients.
At the International Spine Pain & Performance Center, Dr. Dinh provides individualized, multimodal care to patients suffering from chronic pain. She is dedicated to helping her patients live pain-free lives.
When she isn’t working, Dr. Dinh enjoys shucking oysters professionally, cooking, and meal prepping.

Great so far But let’s give it a couple of days
I saw Dr. Dinh for the first time, she is very attentive, knowledgeable and gave me options to help with my issues.
I am so grateful to have found Dr. Dinh and her team at this practice. Everyone there is professional, kind, considerate and caring. From my very first visit I felt like I was finally in the right place to find solutions for my pain issues. Dr. Dinh has created a plan for my specific problems that I am confident will give me a way to manage my issues and have a better quality of life. Excellent, compassionate care. I would highly recommend!
It was my first time seeing Dr. Dinh monday and my appointment went very well. She listene me and went over all my concerns and my records from the other doctor's i have seen in the office. She ask my right up front before our visit how i was feeling and any issues old or new i may have or being experiencing. All of the doctor's have seen there has always offered me the same as she did. Excellent care and treatment.

Very efficient and no nonsencr
Dr Dinh gave me a cortisone shot in my sacroiliac joint, which completely eliminated my pain and verified that the joint was the cause of my lower back issues. I’m now getting physical therapy to hopefully reduce future issues with this joint. I am grateful to Dr Dinh for her help!

Dr. Dinh is very knowledgeable, professional and excels at patient care. She takes time to explain procedures from start to end as well as recovery in a way the patient understands. She is an excellent doctor that I highly recommend and will work with again in the future.
First of all , that practice doesn’t have the list of medications of the patient.She prescribed me a medication that I shouldn’t take bc of my high blood pressure. Second: the injection she put me it didn't help at all. I don't know what she injects me. I didn't improve at all: the knee is more swallow and the pain is worst.
