I broke my back on July 17, 2025, and was referred to Dr. Glaser. I had my appointment with him on Tuesday, August 5. Dr. Glaser himself was attentive, professional, and gave me hope that I was finally on the right path to healingShow more. Unfortunately, that sense of hope quickly faded due to the lack of follow-up from his office. I was assured during the visit that my prescriptions would be called into the pharmacy — but that never happened. I called the office on Wednesday, August 6, and was told they would follow up with Dr. Glaser, who was out until Monday. No one got back to me. I called again Thursday, only to be told once more that he wouldn’t be available until next week. Meanwhile, I’m in excruciating pain. I cannot take narcotics, so I rely on alternative medication for relief — but I’m being left to suffer while waiting for someone to simply follow through. It feels like no one at the office cares, and that’s deeply disheartening — especially from a practice known for being “compassionate.”

Dr. Glaser
Jeffrey Glaser, MD, is a double board-certified interventional pain management physician and the founder of Glaser Pain Relief Center, serving the communities of Encino, California, the San Fernando Valley, and the Greater Los Angeles Area.
Dr. Glaser earned his medical degree at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his internship in internal medicine and his residency in anesthesiology at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Glaser is board-certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Dr. Glaser specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders that cause pain, with a large focus on spine mediated pain (i.e., back pain, neck pain, and sciatica) due to conditions such as herniated/bulging discs, arthritis of the spine, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, and failed back surgery syndrome. Some other conditions he treats include (but are not limited to) migraines, peripheral neuropathy, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).
The initial diagnosis and workup of the condition causing pain are crucial to developing a comprehensive treatment plan. Dr. Glaser’s treatment plans are usually multi-modal and may include minimally invasive procedures, medication management, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications. He may incorporate controlled substances such as Percocet and Norco into a short-term treatment plan, but rarely encourages or prescribes long-term, around-the-clock opioids for non-cancer pain.
Dr. Glaser is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Medical Association, California Society of Anesthesiologists, California Medical Association, and the Los Angeles County Medical Association. He is on staff at Providence Cedar-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, Encino Outpatient Surgery Center, and Pacific Ritz Surgery Center.
Throughout his career, Dr. Glaser has been featured in Los Angeles Magazine’s SuperDoctors, Ventura Boulevard Magazine, and Calabasas Style Magazine. He has also received the Vitals.com “Patient’s Choice Award” from 2011-2021 and the “Most Compassionate Doctor Award” from 2015-2021.
