I love Dr. Phillips. He has great energy. He delivered my third baby and then I went to him 7 months postpartum to have surgery for a prolapse issue. I came away from surgery with wonderful results! I couldn't be happier with my cShow morehoice to be a patient of Dr. Phillips. When it came to delivering my third baby, Dr. Phillips asked me about my plans for pain management during labor. It was the first time I had a care provider ask me about my plans and expectations. When I shared with him how I wanted an epidural, but I did not like how past epidurals left me so numb I can't feel my legs and get leverage to push. He said....and it was so simple..."just tell the anesthesiologist your concerns and they can give you a lighter epidural." I had no idea this was a request I could make. I had no idea I could go "lighter" on my epidural. It was great. I did as Dr. Phillips said and the anesthesiologist was more than happy to help me out. He gave me a lighter epidural that took the edge off the pain, but allowed me to feel the urge to push and use my legs to gain leverage. Great experiences all around. I also love the staff at AAOBGYN as well as St. David's North. The nurses are amazing!
I loved Dr. Aguirre and his staff. They are wonderful! He is a great doctor. Really nice and super friendly. :) I am so glad I had him as my ob/gyn. He is very knowledgeable and understanding. He did a great job on my repeat c-secShow moretion and he came to visit me at the hospital every day that I was there. Avery is also super nice and an awesome assistant. She always greeted me and my older daughter with a smile and asked about my day. They made sure I was always comfortable. Dr. Aguirre's nurse Anna is also wonderful. She is super nice and would call me once in a while to check up on me. She always did a very good job explaining my lab results and made me feel comfortable about everything. Anything I needed I would call her and she always made sure to get back with me as soon as possible. They made me feel like they really cared about me and they did an amazing job helping me get through my pregnancy. Overall, I had a very good experience and I will miss coming in. If I ever have another baby I will make sure to have Dr. Aguirre again as my doctor. :) He is the best ob/gyn and I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to have a great doctor.
Dr. Kathryn M. Landherr is a gifted obstetrician, serving women from in and around Austin, Texas, at Austin Area OB/GYN and Fertility. She helps women throughout their pregnancies, maintaining the health of both the mother and child.
Dr. Landherr grew up in Central Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin for her undergraduate degree in journalism and pre-med. She began medical school at UTMB, went on to graduate from Texas A&M Health Science Center, then on to the University of Oklahoma for her residency program.
Once Dr. Landherr’s residency program was complete she was off to Tucson as an attending physician teaching residents at OU. While at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, she was honored as Section Head of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2008 – 2010. She also completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine with Andrew Weil, M.D. at the University of Arizona where she learned how to help women achieve optimal health throughout every cycle of life.
After spending 12 years in Tucson, an amazing opportunity became available to come back “home” to the Austin area, where most of her family resides, and to join the award-winning team of physicians at Austin Area OB/GYN and Fertility.
Dr. Landherr is thrilled to have the opportunity to raise her four children amongst family in the beautiful hill country that she has always called home. She is looking forward to basketball and baseball with the kids, and perhaps a little golf, hiking, and watersports during the little free time she has.

Dr. Landherr and the nursing staff at the office have been AMAZING to work with! I am so thankful to have chosen this team to care for my baby and I.
I enjoy having Dr. Landherr as my OB, she’s friendly, knowledgeable, and listens to my concerns ensuring that I feel heard and am taken care of. The only improvement I have with the office is that they are usually running behind so I often have to wait longer for my appointment.

WOW! I really enjoyed my visit with her. It was my first time seeing her and she made a point to learn about me. She asked me questions that gave her a good understanding of my health and goals. The best part is she did not rush me out the door! That is very hard to find these days. She was recommended to me by a personal friend and I am SO grateful to have found her!
Dr Landherr is fantastic. She’s very present and great at establishing rapport. She took time to answer my questions, and I feel like we arrived at a game plan together. I always recommend her to anyone searching for an OBGYN. Can’t recommend her enough!

Excellent care for me as a patient and a person. My Doctor thoroughly discussed my medical history and any concerns I had. She was also great at ensuring my comfort throughout my exam.
Doctor seems very knowledgeable and take time to explain and understand my concerns , the only negative thing I could say is the waiting time , my appointment was at 1:30 I didn't see the doctor until 2:20pm .

Dr. Landherr is amazing. Caring and attentive. Only thing that is a minus for the office is the wait times. It always is 45 minutes or more after the appointment time when you actually get in the office. So the appointment time total takes at least an 1.5 hours
Very happy to be with this doctor and practice now that I've moved to Austin... Very comfortable visit.
Dr Landherr is great! Very professional and goes out of her way to explain things. Her MA is so sweet and welcoming, as well. It’s just trying to make an appointment or communicate with the office is very frustrating and difficult.

Dr. Landherr is amazing so glad I chose her as my provider. I’ve been dealing with fibroids for awhile had surgery and still no relief until I trusted Dr.Landherr. I feel 100% better she removed them all I didn’t have to have a hysterectomy or anything else. I had no complications whatsoever. She is heaven sent. Thank you AAOBGYN.

I’ve been going to Dr. Landherr for a few years. She delivered my last baby and I can’t say enough great things about her and her staff. They always make sure I’m taken care of and are all so kind. Dr. Landherr takes the time to talk with you about any issues you may be having. I’ve never felt rushed by her she really cares about your needs.
I saw Dr. Landherr for the first time this week - having relocated to Austin recently. I had multiple issues to discuss with her including post menopausal care including the Mona Lisa laser, osteoporosis, and annual mammogram & bone density scan. She was a great listener, and developed a plan of care rapidly. She palpated a lump in my breast which I had not noticed and quickly got me connected with a radiology group for a diagnostic mammogram. I am grateful for her timely and competent care! The whole office runs like a well-oiled machine. Great practice & practitioner!
