Miss Kelly Johnson was very attentive to my condition and she listened to what I had to say; she gave me advice on my condition and ordered a prescription for for stomach flu (which I probably had for 3-4 days) for me to take. I wShow moreas not able to get that on my way home, but today will do so. She gave me lots of time and so I was comfortable speaking to her. She projects compassion and comfort so I felt much better even though I had not done anything new. I forgot her instructions when I left the office, and she quickly responded to my inquiry and I heard from Kate and I felt better last night and was not sick again.
Dr. Gharaibeh was great. I had an emergency call in appointment and she was available. It was the first time I met her. I found her to be very friendly and professional. I had part of my hearing aid stuck in my ear. She couldnShow more’t get it out, but she found a nurse who had worked with an ENT doctor. She was able to remove it with the proper instrument. Saved my day . I have always found Generations Family Practice to be very obliging and most helpful. It is truly a Family Practice. Generations of my family see them, my daughter, her husband and her children go there. Obviously we have received excellent care for many years. Thank you Generations!
Lara Schoenebeck, MSN, FNP-C is a North Carolina transplant, having lived here since 2018. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester before obtaining a master's degree from Vanderbilt University to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. After finishing her degree, she decided to move to the Triangle area to be closer to family and start her career. She has lived in several places, including Illinois, New York, Tennessee, and Germany, but North Carolina feels like home.
She comes to Generations Family Practice with previous family medicine experience. She has loved working in family medicine because it has allowed her to establish long-term relationships with patients and their families. She is passionate about individualizing care for each patient and working with them to reach their health goals.
Lara currently lives in Cary, NC with her significant other and two cats. In her free time, she loves spending time with family, baking, gardening, and kayaking. She looks forward to continuing to explore and learn more about the area she now calls home.

Having to visit Generation Family Practice with a bad sinus infection and cough I encountered a very professional and caring team. Spent most of my time with Lara the Nurse Practitioner who was very knowledgeable and patient with me with all my questions and conversation. Even though I felt quite sick physically, I felt much improved mentally when I left due to encountering a very thorough and impressive medical team.
My experience at Generations Family Practice is always an excellent one! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and is extremely helpful and compassionate. This is the only place I turn to whether it’s for yearly check ups or any other visits! Thanks for all you do to give me the best care possible!

I felt comfortable and truly heard during my appointment. I've been to many doctors to receive help for my eczema, but few listened and tried to help me come up with potential solutions. She worked really hard to find a topical medication that would work for my particular case. I'm very grateful for her patience and kindness.

Lara is amazing! She listens and cares. Staff was great except The person who checked me in could have had some more cheer. The online process was brutal - I got to page 4 after 20 minutes and it reset - 45 min to complete. Then the survey which lots of the same questions you already answered. I’m giving 5 because of the amazing care I received from Lara.

Very professional, assessed my symptoms and started me on the right course of treatment. The office worked me in and my appointment went fast.
Dr Macomber always takes her time with our family, not matter what brings us to her office. I love that she treats her pediatric patients with respect and speaks directly to them rather than talking to me (the parent) about them.

Dr. Romano Is a wonderful physician. She listen to my story of complex health issues. She ordered bloodwork and found my immunity was low. I was referred to an Immunologist and a hematologist for my chronic abdominal bruising. My immunity turned out to be very low and infusions have been ordered to help me. I had seen several providers at Generations, she was the only one to pick up on my reoccurant infections. Thank you Dr. Romano you will be very missed!!!
Dr Romano is very attentive. She listens and addresses your needs. I very sorry she is leaving the practice. Appears there is not another female Dr at the practice. I may need to look elsewhere
