Since that time, she has utiShow morelized her clinical expertise and years of specialized experience to formulate both a tailored, at home and in- clinic, plan that has greatly improved my shoulders while steadily, each visit, helping me to move toward my ultimate goal of gaining back enough range of motion and degree of function to perform routine activities of daily living and (hopefully) avoid surgery. Marie is not only an extremely talented expert clinician, she listens to her patients, offers sound, practial advice / solutions and provides this care with empathy and a sense of humor! Marie Mastracci, PT, CST-T, is a certified craniosacral physical therapist with more than 37 years of experience. At Back To You Osteopractic Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation in our Royal Oak location, Marie specializes in craniosacral therapy (CST), evaluating, educating, and treating patients to help improve their quality of life.
Marie earned her physical therapy degree from Oakland University in Oakland County, Michigan in 1984. After graduation, Marie obtained her certification in CST and has presented her learnings at several conferences with the Integrative Medicine Department and the Neuroscience Center’s Concussion program.
With advanced training in CST, Marie is a certified teaching assistant for the Upledger Institute in Palm Beach, Florida. She teaches coursework both locally and nationally, teaching others about the benefits of CST for migraines, headaches, neck and back pain.
Along with her CST training, Marie has taken coursework for nerve manipulation and visceral manipulation. Her completed trainings include: ADV1, B1, B2, B3, BTD05, BTD12, BTD15, CS1, CS2, CSIR, CSP1, CSPT, HFFBP, LT1, NM1, NM2, NM3, NM4, NM5, PA1A, SER1, SER2, VM1, VM1, and ZB1.

This is a warm, friendly Osteopractic practice. I have seen Marie for the last three years as she continues to breakdown scar tissue; and remobilize my muscles and tendons as the result of surgery and radiation. She is an excellent therapist.
The staff is welcoming, supportive, and friendly. My therapist, Marie, has been able to help me regain movement in my neck, shoulder, and arm as a result of a partial glossectomy, neck dissection, chemo and radiation . She is knowledgeable and has helped me regain more mobility. I highly recommend her.
Marie knows her “stuff.” She’s been working on my muscles, scar tissue, and the other side effects caused by surgery and radiation. We (her skills and my exercises) are slowly making progress. She’s a fantastic therapist and kind too!
