Dr.Chitgopeker is awesome. Very kind and very professional. However, my recent experience with the business has left me very upset. I scheduled a CO2 laser appointment several months ago, requiring me to take time off work in adShow morevance. I cannot simply return to work, I have ti wait until the time period is over. I was reminded the day before by the office to come in early, which I did. As I waited on the table for treatment, I was informed that the laser was broken and had been that way for a few weeks. I was then informed that a treatment package I purchased two years ago was no longer valid and that my money would not be refunded. After speaking with the office manager, there was zero attempt to compensate me for the fact that an appointment I had waited months for was cancelled when I showed up. An office oversight and clear mistake that could have been resolved by honoring a package I had paid for ahead of time. Although it had been 24 months, the business at the very least could have refunded the money I had given to them. I am very disappointed at the lack of courtesy and patient respect. I am not going to be giving them any more of my money.
Doctor was friendly and thorough. Prior to booking appointment office shared out of pocket cost range with me, however upon completion of the appointment I was invoiced higher than that range and was informed the range provided inShow moreitially was incorrect. Office attempted to rectify it after consulting the manager however I still was invoiced and paid higher than the highest possible amount I was quoted. -So it was not rectified to what was quoted. This was frustrating considering I was very diligent in gathering this specific information prior and ultimately ended up paying more than I was told which is deceptive and causes hardship for patients. This puts patients in a difficult position regarding follow up as well because we risk the same deceptive practice upon return - not being able to verify the out of pocket cost if we can afford it and many paying out of pocket cannot afford $360 + to switch to a new provider starting as a new patient visit. I am not sure if I will return due to this circumstance but it puts me in a difficult position where I may not have the option to seek a new provider.
Molly Stout, MD is a board-certified dermatologist. Originally from Sherborn, Massachusetts, Dr. Stout earned an undergraduate degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, a Masters of Science from Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, and spent a dedicated research year in Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Following her internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, she completed her dermatology residency at Northwestern, where she served as Chief Resident. During residency, Molly served in ABC News' Medical Unit, where she wrote articles for ABCNews.com and contributed to and wrote stories for Good Morning America and World News Tonight. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and member of the Chicago Dermatologic Society, and Women's Dermatologic Society.
Dr. Stout has published and presented over a wide range of topics in dermatology, including hidradenitis suppurativa, contact dermatitis multiethnic skin, and social media. She has written textbook chapters on clinical research and hair disorders. Dr. Stout is passionate about patient advocacy and meets with members of Congress to support legislation to improve patient access to care and affordabe medications. She was chosen for the AMA's Campaign School which prepares physicians to effectively advocate for improved health policy on state and national levels. Dr. Stout is excited to provide care for the whole family for dermatologic diseases from the scalp to the feet! Her clinical interests include hair disorders, cosmetic dermatology, and medical dermatology in both adults and children.
In her free time, Molly enjoys traveling, staying active, cheering for Boston and Chicago sports, and spending time with her husband and son.
