Dr.Chitgopeker is awesome. Very kind and very professional. However, my recent experience with the business has left me very upset. I scheduled a CO2 laser appointment several months ago, requiring me to take time off work in adShow morevance. I cannot simply return to work, I have ti wait until the time period is over. I was reminded the day before by the office to come in early, which I did. As I waited on the table for treatment, I was informed that the laser was broken and had been that way for a few weeks. I was then informed that a treatment package I purchased two years ago was no longer valid and that my money would not be refunded. After speaking with the office manager, there was zero attempt to compensate me for the fact that an appointment I had waited months for was cancelled when I showed up. An office oversight and clear mistake that could have been resolved by honoring a package I had paid for ahead of time. Although it had been 24 months, the business at the very least could have refunded the money I had given to them. I am very disappointed at the lack of courtesy and patient respect. I am not going to be giving them any more of my money.
For an uncomfortable day of being sliced and diced, removing squamous cell carcinoma from my left bicep and the top of my head. Dr. Pooja Chitkopeker and her maedical assistant, Marylin, took excellent care of me. Good communicatiShow moreon throughout the procedures keeping me comfortable as best they could. My trust in them never wavered. To all that read this do yourself a favor and use sunscreen as much as possible and protect your skin to avoid such an experience when you get into your 60’s. Medical Dermatology is a first class operation.
Neill T. Peters, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Peters completed both his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Michigan. He received the William B. Taylor Senior Medical Student Award for Excellence in Dermatology. After completing a preliminary year of training in Internal Medicine at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, he returned to the University of Michigan for his Dermatology training. He was ranked by US News and World Report as a Top Dermatologist in Chicago in 2012. He has been cited in Consumer Checkpoint magazine as one of Chicago’s Top Dermatologists. Top Tier MD has also recognized Dr. Peters as one of the highest rated Dermatologists in Chicago.

Dr Chitgopeker is very professional and very careful. She has tried 2 techniques on my xanthalasma. The second one looks like it did work.
