During my second visit on 8/15/19 Dr. Budoff reviewed my CT scan which indicated 35% bone loss in the PIP joint & osteoarthritis. He suggested two surgical options for the correction of traumatic Swan neck deformity - #1. Joint Show morereplacement #2. Fusion. He then injected steroids in the IP and PIP joints to reduce pain & swelling. While injecting steroids he discovered my little right finger had significant scar tissue in the PIP joint then explained surgical complications caused by scar tissue. Upon my third visit on 9/12/19 - my PIP joint had collapsed, the Swan neck deformity went from 29% to 32% with zero movement, thus he could no longer perform the joint replacement. Dr. Budoff gave me a compassionate explanation why only a fusion is possible. He is understanding, supportive and kind knowing I fractured my finger in multiple places on 2/11/19. He is sympathetic and wants to perform the best surgical repair. Dr. Budoff knows the pain I’ve endured with pinning stabilization surgery, difficult pin removal & closed contracture release by another Hand Surgeon 7 months ago. Though he can’t return movement to my finger I understand why.
I felt really good but going to Dr.IIahi he was recommended to me by one of my coworkers and I really liked him do you actually sit down and I was listening to everything I was telling them and how I was feeling with my knee you tShow moreell me to get on MRI and we would discuss what the Test shows gave me two options I could have surgery or get a steroid shot and some information pills and try that first and if it didn't help tell he would discuss surgery with me in more details so I'm going to take his advice and wait a couple weeks to see how my knee feels and he said if it doesn't feeling better to give him a call and his staff the super friendly and very helpful so I would recommend Dr Ilahi for any of your knee problems

He also was an assistant team physician at the University of Wisconsin during his fellowship there. This was one of the most Extraordinary Experience in my lifetime, it was different than any Orthopedic Doctor in my 30 years of going to an Orthopedist. I even had a stem cell injection into my knee about 6 years ago or less from another Doctor and comparing Dr. Ilahi to this procedure is pretty close, meaning the experience I received put Dr. Ilahi #1 on the Chart by being the best Orthopedic Doctor in the Medical Field

We were greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk, who had all my forms ready for me to fill out. Hardly any wait time, nurse and Dr. were very nice. X-rays done on site and they even provided my son’s brace and they made sure it fit before we left.

Professional and understanding
Staff was very friendly Dr was also. Dealing with issue for 2 yrs. In one (1st) visit had X-ray, and at least knew nothing had been broken. Love this Dr, no nonsense and looked at my shoulder before suggesting pain pills or a shot. Some of us want our issues Fixed, and no drugs period. Let’s get to the cause and fix the problem is exactly why I Love this Dr.
