I love my physician. However my checkin experience really was not good. I pre registered on line, I even uploaded my insurance, drivers license, and payment on line. When I arrived there were patients at both windows I was about 5Show more minutes early for my appointment. I patiently waited for my turn and was told they were training a new employee. I gave my name etc and after that the trainer informed me I was lLATE for my appointment. I looked at my watch it was now 11 minutes after my appointment time. I explained to her I have been here the entire time to be then told she would have to check with the dr if I could still be seen!!! What I said you have to be kidding me. I was then told this office runs differently than most. This was asp the morning of the bad thunderstorms and parking lot was a disaster YET I was still on time. I had to then wait45 min to be seen. I’m a long time patient and have never been treated like that at this office. I’m also in healthcare and would have never treated a patient like she did.
My experience was great, the front office prior to the actual event had a lot of issues. They sent me the initial paperwork with the date, time and doctor performing the procedure HIGHLIGHTED and it was all wrong - it said a dateShow more in 2014 and a doctor that has retired! I have to say that did not make me feel totally confident in the facility. Then they prescribed a $200 prep that the pharmacist was never able to see if my insurance would cover or not, after standing there for 15 minutes. I called and got a new prep for $0 and they said they would email instructions, to not follow the instructions on the box. That email never came so I called for a third time to get it. Everyone I saw on Thursday was awesome and I was totally at ease, but you need to take a look at your office people.

After finishing his undergraduate education at the University of Rochester in New York, Dr. Ramgopal returned to his hometown of Oklahoma City to obtain his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma. He went on to complete his Internal Medicine Residency training at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and was selected to serve as a chief resident. He stayed at Washington University to complete his Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship.
When he is not caring for patients at Gateway Gastroenterology, Dr. Ramgopal enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also likes to stay active by running, scuba diving, and snowboarding. He looks forward to welcoming new and returning patients to the practice.

I recently had two procedures with Dr. Ramgopal and had a great experience. I had not met Dr. Ramgopal before the procedure as my appointment was with one of the nurse practitioners. Dr. Ramgopal went over my symptoms, explained the procedure and then discussed the findings with me and my husband afterward. Once the official results were received he took time via telephone to explain everything to me and was very patient with me as I asked several questions. I would recommend Dr. Ramgopal to others.

I recently had to switch GI doctors due to my previous doctor retiring. I was very pleased with Dr Ramgopal. He was attentive, and listened to my concerns. Very grateful for him to listen and work with me on my problems. Would highly recommend.
The F.N.P. I met with was very attentive and easy to talk too. A negative of the practice is the doctor I was going to left the practice and his customers were not informed. When I tried to see another doctor I was told it would be a three month wait. I guess there is always the emergency room if needed. I was happy that I was able to talk to Mrs.Aubuchon that only took a month to see her. I have now reestablished myself with another doctor in the group.
