After years of unsuccessful surgeries by others and 5 years of debilitating ankle pain, I was at the end of hope. I had seen Dr. Shock one of those years, and I remember him saying that even though I had surgery, this was a condiShow moretion I need to manage for life and that he would provide all the treatments available to help me manage it. I never forgot that. So when other surgeons were singularly focused on surgery and those failed, I knew Shock was my last hope. Through listening to my history, we assessed that a total ankle replacement was necessary. I was nervous given my past disappointments, but I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to do it. Since my surgery, the post op care has been phenomenal. It's the thing that truly sets Shock apart from anyone else. He does not stop at surgery. He will continue to treat his patients holistically, throwing everything he can at it. For instance, he's treating my scar, and no other surgeon cared about those sorts of things. I'm seeing amazing results from my surgery already. I can do things I haven't been able to do in 5 years. And I know he's there for me through this journey. I'm so thankful for Dr. Shock and highly recommend him and his staff.

The doctors I had for the first 10 years of trying to handle my foot pain gave me shots but they never hit the spot correctly in order to stop the pain and reduce the swelling. He also made sure I got excellent custom orthotics, which saved a lot of money from buying off the shelf ones that only last about a year, the custom lasted 10 years. He’s taking care of a breakdown of cartilage in my ankle, ingrown, toenail, broken toes, etc. etc. and the treatments have always helped tremendously.

I've been seeing Dr. Shock for over a year. He and his staff are the best medical services I've had in my lifetime! They "Over the Top" on every part of your visit. Love the staff and Dr. Shock's bed side manners! Straight to the point and you are in/out ahead of time. Very friendly GREAT people! My sincere Thanks to Dr. Shock and his staff!!!

It is always an experience visiting with Dr. Shock as he is a very funny guy. He gets you to overcome your fears quickly, for sure. He keeps you moving toward your goals after surgery. So recovery is timely. Like him and his staff a lot.

Dr. Shock absolutely saved my feet! I’ve had several issues through the years, and without his help with my severe plantar fasciitis (both feet) I’d never have been able to get back into normal (and cute!) shoes again. Dr. Shock and his team are amazing.
