I had an extremely productive Doctor’s office visit with Dr. Sanjay Murthy and he covered all of the aspects of my continuing care under his stewardship. Dr. Murthy reviewed all of the current medications that I am taking to ensurShow moree that I was having no side effects (as is typical). He also most notably noted that I had started a new Rx for weight loss (a GLP-1 agonist via Novo Nordisk), and I stated that there were no serious side effects post-2 weeks of taking the medication. He also showed salient compassion with regards to my previously Dxed Lumbar down to sciatic back pain and after careful consideration decided it would be beneficial for me to have a joint injection to assist in the management of my pain. Overall it was another 10+ out of 10 visit with Dr. Murthy that I left feeling that my healthcare was being managed expertly by him. I cannot state enough how much Dr. Murthy’s broad knowledge and expertise across weight control, pain, Cardio-Metabolic, and anxiety management has changed my life for the better. Dr. Sanjay Murphy has always been my favorite doctor. He takes time to listen to your concerns, actually cares about his patients and helping them out. I see several specialist for various health conditions and they simply don't pShow moreut nowhere near the same time and effort into helping their patients out like Dr. Sanjay Murthy does. I am very thankful and happy he is my doctor and I most definitely would recommend him to anyone who wants an actual doctor that cares about their patients, a doctor that is very knowledgeable and actually knows what he is talking about. The staff there is amazing too. Olivia is also great. Very kind hearted and listens to your concerns. The front desk staff is awesome too. Sarah has always worked with me and my schedule and always communicates with me when I have questions. Just an overall great place.
Sanjay Murthy, MD, MPH & TM, is a skilled family medicine physician and the founder of WellHealth Medical Associates in Belleville and Rochester Hills, Michigan. He has many years of experience caring for patients of all ages, improving their physical and mental well-being.
Dr. Murthy holds a master’s degree in public health & tropical medicine infectious disease from Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dr. Murthy was a Resident in Family Medicine at Louisiana State University in Lafayette, Louisiana, and completed a 3rd-year residency at the University of Kentucky in Occupational Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky.

Dr. Murthy is highly educated, and also sympathetic to my issues. He takes the time to figure out what's going on. I like the fact he has specialized in a range of health issues- such as diabetes and behavioral health. I do feel I can rely on his opinion and medical direction. Plus the office staff are friendly & helpful too. Am really glad a friend referred me to this clinic!
